Dirty stained toilet, mouldy shower curtain, rusty towel rails, main bathroom light not working, stained and damaged carpet, mattress is extremely worn and uncomfortable.
I slept on top of the bed as I started scratching as soon as I sat on the bed so didn't want to risk sleeping under the covers. Fortunately I had brought my own pillow.
I did take a look under the covers and the bed was not made professionally so I had doubts that the linen was fresh and clean.

Ashtray outside of my room full of buts and they also have rodent traps outside the rooms.

One night and never again!

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Was expecting basic for the price of $125, but always expect clean.  The carpet was atrocious with stains everywhere, I had to wear my shoes when walking on the carpet because the thought of walking directly on the carpet :-/
Pillows very uncomfortable, although some may not have problem. No hand towel in bathroom. 2 out of the 3 cups were unclean and  had food particles stuck to the inside of cup   (not sure why)   Was woken by a noise that sounded like snorting to later find out it was a large dog with the constant snuffles (didn’t know they allowed dogs here). Room smells. No hand control for air-con, so had to hope that when turned on it would provide cool air. Even with this the room was very stuffy with little relief during the night. 

The linen did look clean and fresh though which I guess is the most important factor. 

Not a good night sleep - disappointing experience 

We had a very clean, well maintained cabin.  Big tight but more than adequate for the 2 nights we were there. Excellent if you have a pet as you can take them for a walk in very big grounds along the river. A very well run, large enterprise.

Great for pet owners

The pub and food is great! Staff and nice and the beer garden is fantastic. Just don’t stay here!! I don’t think the floor had been vacuumed for weeks! I took my socks off and the carpet was sticky. Bathroom hadn’t been cleaned very well, there was a hair clip and hair on the floor. Never will stay here or recommend the rooms to anyone! 

Don’t stay here

Situated in North Wagga Wagga just 5 mins from the Main Street of Wagga Wagga the Palm and Pawn is fabulous. The rooms are clean if basic. The beds were so soft and comfortable. The reception is in the pub itself and the staff are friendly and helpful. Don’t freak out when you see that the rooms are next to the pub, the blinds are completely black out and you can’t see in. The bathrooms are very basic and you do need to bring shampoo/conditioner. They do make the rooms everyday for you. It can be a little noisy at night but the pub does close at midnight and 10pm on Sunday so is quiet then. They also have a courtesy bus so if you want to go into town just ask at reception (starts at 5pm). The food is great there if you don’t want to go into town. There is an amazing play area for the kids and it does have a family feel about it. I will definitely stay here again when I come to Wagga Wagga. Note that there is a pool, but it is currently closed. 

Fabulous Budget Priced accomodation 

Book ahead if your dropping in for lunch on the weekend. This place is popular.
The menu is not extensive but what they lack in variety is made up by their A grade Parma 
If your in Wagga , well worth it.

Lunch

Have not stayed in the rooms, but have been to there for a birthday, great meals and very quick service even when very busy. All our meals were excellent and very tasty. The children had fun in the new play ground.

We had the $10.00 lunch today.  250 gm rump steak with chips and salad. A nice day so we ate in the covered outdoor area at the back of the pub. Lots of good sized seating with capacity for large numbers or small groups of 2 - 4. Steak was well cooked, salad tasty and the chips quite nice. For $10 it was a bargain and a good sized meal. Food was brought to our table with hardly any wait time by pleasant staff.  We'll be back to try other items on the menu thats for sure.

Nice, cheap meal at the Palm and Pawn

We ventured to Wagga for training purpose and decided to have a meal at the nearest Pub, it wasn't your boutique club or pub, just a plain friendly place with great food excellent atmosphere and friendly staff well worth a visit.

Old but nice

One staff member was extremely rude. Male staff member said to one of us “your arrogant sweetie” and “are you death or something” when we asked to have a patron move their car who was blocking the entrance and exit as we were trying to get out of the accommodation car park (we are staying there). Staff said they are booking into their accommodation and will move it after and didn’t care about exisiting patrons trying to enter and exit motel. Staff also allowed a very loud party to happen directly outside accommodation doors late into the night.
