At 11pm we were evacuated from our accommodation in Shepparton due to the floods. We drove to Numerka where the town was shut and we were resigned to the fact that we would be  sleeping in the car. We had friends who had booked into this motel in Tocumwal earlier that day so we rang them at midnight to see if we could get a room (3 adults). They woke up the managers of the motel and were so very helpful and accommodating and yes, they would have a room ready for our arrival, at approximately 1am. 
The room was clean, big and very comfortable, just what we needed in our time of need. There was fresh milk in the fridge and crockery/cutlery was provided. We were just so very thankful that they looked after us. We couldn’t recommend this motel and managers highly enough! Thank you.

A great place to stay!

We booked into the motel.  The service at the desk was amazing and very friendly.  Rooms were clean and had everything we needed.  
We told the desk that we saw it was $130 a night and he said I’ll do it for $120 fir double and single.  Who dies that!

Excellent accommodation and service was amazing

Value for Money, we had everything you would normally get in a **** 4 star room, the beds were very comfortable, room was spotless, shower was the best motel shower ever and Sally was very friendly and helpful.  We highly recommend the Bakery Park Motel for anyone wanting to stay in the Tocumwal area. This motel is also within easy walking distance to the center of town and the Murray River. (my age is 70)

Welcome Surprise

Great motel after a long ride in the rain all day- very helpful staff even opened there shed for us to put our bikes in out of the rain for the night 

Clean and comfortable and only short walk to town 300 meters away.

Left my favorite hat there snd rang to see if it was there and said yes and posted to me

Great stopover

I can't speak highly enough of this motel! One of the best hot showers comfy bed and immaculate room. The owners were very friendly and accomodating. Best value for money ! I will be definitely recommend and stat here again !

Best Motel !!

A very pleasant motel. The rooms are a generous size and neat and clean. My bathroom was recently renovated and excellent hot water and pressure. I was travelling for work and really appreciated the iron and ironing board and the hair dryer so I could look neat and tidy!

Very quiet and comfortable for an overnight stay. Lovely town and would definitely stay at this motel again. A pleasant walk into town for dinner, but most of all it was quiet!! Decor a bit dated, but aren't we all. The eds were comfortable, that's the main thing

Quiet and comfortable

Third stay here, last time I wrote a review (back in 2015). Stayed again and just have to reiterate how awesome this place is! This is budget accommodation done with perfection. It feels so underrated. Clean (extremely clean), spacious, comfortable, all the basics done well and the cleanest bathroom fan I've ever seen! Each room is labelled with a river and I suspect they are all unique in their decor. I had the Wakool room for the second time! I will ask for it again next time (as there absolutely will be a next time). Highly recommend the Tocumwal Hotel for dinner (with the beer garden at the front). Good old-fashioned Aussie pub grub without pretentiousness. Great little town and awesome little motel. Great stay!

Stayed before, will stay again

We were greeted in a very friendly manner, and checked in quickly.
We were amazed at the size of the room we had - a huge bed, two two-seater couches and a table and chairs.
The room was spotless, well appointed with a large bathroom.The shower was magic, plenty of hot water and large fluffy towels.
A nice touch was the practical bed lamp, just right for reading in bed.
We considered the breakfast menu to be a little limited, with just continental or eggs on offer.
We opted for the eggs & bacon and were astounded when it was delivered.
The meal was beautifully presented, with heaps of bacon and THREE eggs, accompanied by two slices of toast.  It tasted as good as it looked.
We had requested an extra car space, and were shown a very large grassed area for our extra vehicle.
This would be perfect for anyone travelling with a boat or trailer.
I would urge anyone requiring accommodation in Tocumwal to stay at the Bakery Inn.

Could Not Recommend More Highly.

My wife and I stayed one night in this hotel which deserves a 5/5 of both the quality of the hostess and the cleanliness of the rooms.
