we stayed at this hostel and was great value for money where everything was properly cleaned, we managed to get the from rooms with a view for the bay. The food was fresh and very good. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpfull.

Very nice owner. Weve been the first guests staying in this hostel. the owner has another hostel on cat ba island. He was so nice and funny and he fixed everything we had to complain about within minutes!

Clean and cheap rooms.

My friends and I were only in Cat Ba for a few days but this served as a great stay. Since the hostel wasn't full my two friends and I got upgraded to a water view room, which was really nice (had a balcony as well). The bathrooms were a bit dirty, but overall, the location was great and it was a good last minute find. The staff was very nice as well - they helped us book a tour of Halong Bay and also arranged for earlier transportation back to Cat Ba so we could catch our bus back to Hanoi on time.

Probably the best value for money place I've stayed in in Vietnam. Double room with a single for less than ten dollars, awesome! Little bit of a damp smell and some of the rooms had hard beds but the third room I checked the bed was great. Customer service was great too.

Nice place to be!

Excellent value for money

For only €5.50 my boyfriend and I had a double room with bathroom with hot shower and seaview. This was low season though. The room is fine but the bathroom is kind of old and needs some work. The wifi is great in the restaurant, poorly in the room. The owner was really pushy with selling tours and eating in his restaurant, this became really annoying. The computers are free of charge which was nice. So it was fine for the price but if it was more expensive in the high season I would have not stayed here.
