My wife and I were in the area to visit Stone Tower Winery and chose to stay with Zion Springs BnB because of its proximity and prior reviews and are very happy that we did. Such a nice alternative to corporate chain hotels. The room was extremely clean and comfortable, recently renovated rustic. We walked out of our room into beautiful grounds which are most commonly used for weddings. Neighboring Purcelleville has numerous restaurant options. We will definitely stay here when we return to visit the nearby wineries.

Fantastic stay

We stayed here one night to visit some nearby wineries. We stayed in the Monroe Room. Nice futon to sit on in separate room from bedroom. No television which is fine because we don’t watch much tv. Slept well, the bed was comfortable. It’s hard to find a bedroom without windows which is a plus for me to have it as dark as possible for sleeping. 

I feel $181 is a bit steep considering you only get a continental breakfast. We each ate a muffin then drove to a cafe and purchased a cooked breakfast. 

Nice stay but slightly overpriced 

We got married in October on a beautiful fall day. We had a long engagement and picked zion springs two years before the wedding. They dealt with all of our questions with ease throughout the whole process. They genuinely mean it when they say to put your trust in them and enjoy the fun things about your wedding. Doug and Laura are real all-stars for all that they do to make the day special. Doug is a wizard behind the camera and brings the best out of everyone leading up to and during the wedding. Not only is he the best behind the camera, but he is also a problem solver and helped with anything I asked of him that day. Laura is a pro. She is always calm, and it's infectious. When they asked us what we wanted our wedding to look like and feel, they followed our instructions to a tee and made it truly feel like OUR wedding. Our guests were equally thrilled with the atmosphere and the staff support. Multiple people told me how efficient and smooth the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were. They will go above and beyond to ensure that they deliver what you truly want. I could go on and on. I will say again that Doug and Laura really made the process, the day, and everything in between and after stress-free and memorable. Hats off to both of them for helping us start our marriage the best way.

STRESS FREE, GREAT ATMOSPHERE, FANTASTIC STAFF

You should know if you spend money at this venue, you are indirectly funding election deniers and the like.  From the local paper:   

"John and Christine Tigges, owners of Zion Springs, a luxury bed and breakfast and vineyard in Hamilton, opened their doors to some 100-like minded individuals who believe that the 2020 election was “stolen” and want a forensic audit of the results, meaning each cast vote should be hand-counted."

My husband and I tied the knot here about a month ago and we are still floating. The place is obviously beautiful but the people are what make it amazing. We dealt the most with Laura and Doug leading up to the big day and all I can say is that they are masters of their craft. They made my life SO EASY in regards to the planning process. And on the weekend of, Sophie, Lorelei, Sabrina, Jon, Chris, Tommy and the whole crew worked so hard to make for an absolutely seamless few days. I felt so relaxed and stress free through the whole weekend. I couldn't recommend this place more. Our photo sneak peak and wedding video were ready(and SO GOOD) by the morning after and we got to watch it at breakfast which I thought was just unbelievable!And my friend actually booked a tour two days after our wedding because it was so amazing!!!!!

Most stress free wedding weekend!!!

All I have to say is that it's been 4 years since my wedding and I couldn't write this review until now because I have been so mad at Jon and his wife Kris. They are terrible people. They push religion on you at every chance they get. They are racists and don't support minorities. Prior to my wedding day my event coordinator through the venue was watching football on her phone during the only meeting we had in person together. Jon's wife wouldn't allow my dying aunt to attend breakfast with me the day of my wedding causing a huge scene. My aunt later died that year and I never got to spend that time with her. She also came into my honeymoon suite without my knowledge while I was changing. They were so unprofessional, during my photos Jon made rude comments about how long I was taking and my guests would have to eat cold food. Someone on their staff cut our wedding cake without us being involved, I still to this day have no idea why they would do that. They forced us to only use their vendors and made it difficult to impossible for outside vendors to coordinate. Their 12 year old son was running through my bridal suite while my bridesmaids were getting dressed and changed. The same son manned the photobooth and messed up every single photo, I had to show Jon each photo for him to finally agree to refund this one item. They are terrible people. While the venue is beautiful it isn't worth the headache and heartache you'll get from having to deal with these idiots. Oh did I mention Jon recently was arrested for causing another scene and getting in a fist fight at a local school town hall in Loudoun County. He's a real cool dude clearly. Is this the person you want involved in your wedding day?

Jon is an awkward awful person and his wife is worse

My husband and I stumbled across this gorgeous property online and it reminded us of the estate where we just got married in June. We live in PA but this was only 2 hours from us so it was a very doable drive for a quick weekend getaway. The entire grounds are beautiful and so well-cared for, we kept saying we wish we could have seen a wedding actually take place there because it would be gorgeous! John and Chris, the owners couldn’t have been more accommodating between inviting us into their home for delicious breakfasts both mornings to providing us all the best recommendations on local hiking, breweries and wineries. We tried every single one and were blown away but everything we did! The beauty in that area is hard to describe in words. Would highly recommend this wonderful B&B if you are lucky enough to book it when there are no weddings! Thanks for everything and all your hospitality 😊

PERFECT GETAWAY SPOT!!!!

Chris and John have done an impeccable job creating a relaxing hidden get away in Zion Springs. We left the BnB feeling rejuvenated. It was an ideal get away weekend, and we will absolutely be returning! (Thank you Chris and John!) 

A Peaceful Oasis Hidden Away

I found Zion Springs B&B by happenstance and I couldn't be happier with the discovery! The room was SO comfy...from sheets to pillows to towels, etc. Being able to make a strong cup of coffee on my time was also wonderful. I wouldn't change a thing about the accommodations. And then there was the property -- so beautiful and soul soothing. And the breakfasts? Not sure what was better, the food or conversation. No doubt I will be going back and if I ever get married again, this is the venue I would choose!

My stay was awesome!

We had the absolute best time celebrating our daughter’s wedding at Zion Springs!  The owners, Jon and Chris, have a stunning venue and were amazing hosts!  Everything about the weekend was perfect!  The event planner, Laura, was so organized and guided us through every detail of wedding planning with ease!  Her professional and calming demeanor was exactly what this mother of the bride needed.  I am not sure if Doug, the photographer, ever slept over the wedding weekend because every time we turned around he was there taking the absolute best photos/videos. He was so much fun and his energy was contagious.  A shout out to the chef for the delicious food both at the rehearsal and reception!! So many other members of the Zion Springs team that went above and beyond including Abby (the florist), the friendly bartenders, quick and smiling food servers, to our entertaining MC/DJ, Jon! 

The amount of time and dedication by everyone member of the Zion Team did not go unnoticed.  Way to go! You all knocked it out of the park!!
