If you want a great downtown stay this is the place to be.

We really enjoyed our stay.  It was clean and the gentleman who checked us in was amazing.  The one thing that I did not like was we couldn't get a later check out then 10am. It is very early for checking out. Especially when our flight is at 5pm

I enjoyed staying at Kenect , the enviorent was clean . The only downside was that there was no option for parking .

When I arrived, I was originally assigned a unit that was being used for storage. They quickly got me switched to another unit for the night and then moved me to a larger, upgraded unit the next morning. Everyone was lovely and welcoming, and very accommodating. My overall stay was wonderful, even with the small blip with check-in!

Great place to stay... very conveniently located.  Staff very helpful and accessible.

I loved the clean beautiful apartment.  I had come for QuiltCon2025 and could easily walk to the Convention Center and felt very safe in the neighbourhood. An easy walk to Matt’s Big Breakfast ❤️ which I did twice! The roof top pool and view where lovely, I enjoyed the coffee station on the main floor where you can choose hot chocolate or your favourite coffee from freshly ground beans. I would definitely stay here again.

Outstanding stay. Clean, modern, quiet, centrally located. Short walk to Valley Metro Rail. Rooftop pool was a great feature.

Fast problem-solving and wonderful sevice!

We were there for a distributor show. We made 3 reservations last November, but a couple weeks before the event the show informed us that only two people would be allowed to attend the show. We canceled the third reservation as a result, but it was non-refundable, so we were out $736.20 before ever arriving. The facility is quite beautiful. A few major complaint- a pullout sofa bed instead of a regular bed is unacceptable to a frequent traveler for a room over $200.00. A full-sized bed is necessary. Also, the office mezzanine area is wonderful, but travelers also like to work in their rooms. No table, or at least higher stool chairs to use the countertop is a major miss. Lastly, if you are going to supply containers for shampoo, conditioner and body wash, please check them for operability, as the conditioner would not come out and the body wash was barely able to get out. The best part of the stay were the desk staff and cleaning people's demeanors. They are all terrific!

Real or Imagined

The most important thing to know about Kenect Phoenix is that it doesn't function like a regular hotel. As far as I can tell in the building there are co-working spaces, apartments and hotel rooms. It was almost like it was a collection of air-bnbs. One way that this effected me is that it doesn't have a normal front desk that is staffed 24-7, All check in and out information came via email. Also the phone number I had called a switchboard offsite that didn't know what wi-fi network or password to use. The room and building were very clean and in great condition. The concierges were very friendly.  The kitchenette had plenty of dishes and cookware. It was almost like I had a temporary apartment, But like an apartment it wasn't clear who to call if I wanted another blanket or needed a hand.

Lovely but odd communication

Our room had a weird smell but other than that it was clean and everything worked. They have an in-unit washer and dryer and even provide detergent. Downtown PHX is rather industrial but there were a lot of good dining options within walking distance. We felt safe the whole time.The gym only had two treadmills and one of them wasn't working hence only 4 stars on the property condition.

The property is modern, clean and feels safe. Employees were kind and helpful.I stayed in a studio unit. The bed was a folding sofa and wasn't that comfortable.The soap dispenser in the shower did not work and was leaking. The blind cord was broken, and I had to climb a chair to catch the end and bring it up/down.

The good: The staff is awesome. Very helpful and nice. The building is new and was in good condition. It was close proximity to the convention center for my event. There is a nice food market nearby, so I could get groceries and cook some meals. I had a studio with a murphy bed, and it was plenty of space. Lots of closets. The roof top deck and pool are gorgeous and quiet. The separate sitting area on level 8 and the communal workspace was also convenient. I didn't use the gym, but it had a lot of equipment and looked nice. The NOT so GOOD: My hot water was sporadic. I mostly had cold to luke- warm showers the first two days, I couldn't get my dishwasher to work. Black out curtains would have been nice, I'm used to sleeping in darkness, and it didn't feel very private. My door wouldn't close all the way on its own, so a few times I came back, and my door was not closed. My last day I was moving my stuff out from under the bathroom vanity, and I came across a used Crack/meth pipe, that was laying behind the tissue box holder.. I was shocked and a little pissed. Other than that it was great, and I would recommend.

Overall was a pretty good stay, however the late check in time of 4 is really inconvenient and there is little to no communication about being able to check in even a couple hours earlier. Fire alarm also went off during my stay with no explanation. But the room was nice and clean and me and my boyfriend enjoyed our stay for the most part.

I wish i remembered his name but the gentlemen who checked me in first night was amazing.   Room was clean and functional.  The only downside was those shades on windows.  Very transparent so light comes right thru it.   Oyher fownside the murphy bed mattrss not very comfortable.  Very thin anf uncomfortable.  Great staff and area though

Overall, I loved it — good kitchen in the room that I used every night, beautiful property, beautiful sunset view from the pool, great amenities, great location.  Amazing value — half the price of an equivalent hotel.  The on tap cold brew was some of the best coffee I’ve ever had (though it did run out near the end of my stay and was not replenished). Two problems that may or may not matter depending on your needs:1. No blackout curtains.  Just thin sheer shades.  Unless you wear an eye mask, the sun WILL wake you up.  I needed to be up early for work so that was fine for me, but if you need to or want to sleep in past sunrise, bring an eye mask or go somewhere else.  Wild that blackout shades are not installed. I get that these are basically nice apartments… but if I lived here the first thing I would do would be hang some darker window coverings.2. Parking: I walked and did not have a vehicle, so not a problem for me, but the front desk seemed SO relieved that I didn’t need parking.  If you will have a car, DO YOUR RESEARCH on where to park and make sure you’re good with that, as it seems that they don’t have onsite parking and it can be kind of a problem.
