Surveillance cameras and criminals extortion death threats and doxxing is what to expect if you stay here .  Place is rundown as well and don't even give you towels.  I would have got better sleep in my car or even in the woods out back

COMPLETE EFFIN HORROR SHOW!

On August 25th my wife and I stayed at a Hampton Inn in Morgantown WV for a Hospital visit early the next morning.  We were given the "Special Hospital Rate"  which was more than booking it through kayak, anyway we checked in to the hotel and went to our room and everything seemed fine.  Then we noticed the lights were dimming, and going off and on, and when we turned the bathroom lights on it would dim the entry lights, clearly an electrical problem.  We called the front desk and she brought up a key to another room, we moved our stuff and when we entered this room we noticed a mini fridge, which our other room lacked.  We instinctively opened it to see if it was cold only to find it full of someones leftovers.  we threw those in the trash and begin to settle into the room.  Then we noticed the outlets on the wall that joined our old room did not work, so no light, no clock, nowhere to plug the phone in by the bed.  We had food delivered and ate it then I went down to the desk to let the GM know what was going on, she offered yet another room, by this time it was almost 10pm and we had to be up at 4 to get to the hospital appointment.  We said we would deal with it and went to bed.  The next morning my wife got up to shower and the faucet did not work.  we cleaned up as best we could and went to check out.  I ended up getting billed for 3 nights, and when I called the GM told me that because of the issues we would get a complete refund.  This was false they still charged me for the one night and full price at that.  I don't like to be lied to and I expect the refund as I was told I would receive.

Bad electrical, no shower

This place is not only unsanitary but unsafe... if you are alone or younger and female you will be given choices of rooms that don’t properly lock... if that’s not bad enough the rooms are infested with bugs, the sheets have what looks to be blood stains on them and there’s free drugs in your bed side table... after looking out the window of the room and the odd comments made by the Indian man at the front desk in poorly spoken English my stay lasted 20 minuets and was actually told I was not allowed to leave... he had a anger spurt after I told him I was checking out and would like a refund and he refused to let me check out and removed the sign on the front desk saying they offered refunds... I left with out even checking out (because he refused to check me out of the hotel after 20 minuets of being there) needless to say there were to many red flags and I believe my life and free will are worth loosing a little money and getting a safe and sanitary hotel.. do not give these people your money have this place shut down...

This hotel is quite simply a dump. The door to the room I stayed in didn't close properly, there was water leaking in the bathroom, the TV was dated and there were melted parts on the top of it, and a broken piece of plexiglass covered the window in the back. There were fortunately no bugs however.

One Word: Disgusting

It was kinda hard to get to. But it was a very nice room and the service was good. Only thing is the traffic was really loud.and you can't check in till 3 o'clock. There was any kind of snacks yo get.

It was ok

For the price, it wasn’t that bad. I suggest bringing your own pillows and shower shoes. No complementary iron or hair dryer, so keep that in mind as well. There was late night checkin which was really good for me since I didn’t get into town until 1am. It is close to the highway, so bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper!

 motel m in Morgantown Wvu has the nasty rooms I had to take a towel wet it and then wipe the floor up it was black the pillow cases were not changed and stained and when you go to rent a room they Indian says we have no rooms available but you have someone else go in and check they have a room availbe for them so I guess if you don't sell you self for them you are not allowed to stay there then they raise your room rates as they see fit which is realy price gouging after they take your money and let you stAy all week

Nasty rooms and bad Business  

I've never written a hotel review before, but I feel compelled to this time. I've stayed in my share of dumpy hotels before, but this place is a D.U.M.P. You probably should know you're in trouble when the front desk gives you a key to go look the room over before you check in. The room was about what I expected, and I did a quick inspection for bed bugs, and didn't see any signs. Then while moving my luggage from my car to the room, I was approached by two latino men who in very broken English asked me if I had any alcohol in the room. Once moved into the room, I went to open the curtain on the rear window, and found it covered in stink bugs.

Stay away, sleeping in your car is the better option.
