Blue Mountain Bed & Breakfast

What a lovely property!   The views from our room were incredible!  After a full day of road trip driving, it was nice to find that the Blue Mountain B&B was located right next to a very walkable, private forestry road which allowed us to get out and move…in a wooded and safe setting…magical! The bed is our room was quite comfy and our breakfast the next morning was delicious and satisfying.  The owner gave us a dining suggestion for dinner, Lolo Creek Steakhouse, which was perfect for what we were looking for.  All in all…a great B&B!!

Beautiful property, delicious breakfast, and wonderful host.

The setting is interesting and homey...we did not want a sterile hotel setting at Christmas time. We were visiting family on the west edge of Missoula, which is relatively far from most hotels...so the Blue Mountain setting was perfect for us. Breakfast was very good both days that we were there.

The views, the rooms, the service and the breakfasts all met or exceeded expectations.   So much better than a standard hotel room at about the same cost.   The hosts were incredibly hospitable.  The location is really just outside of Missoula which makes for easy trips to town and even easier trips into the wilderness.   Only negative was some road noise as major thoroughfare was just at the bottom of the mountain.  Highly recommended

Absolutely magnificent and beautiful beyond belief! So comfy and cozy. Wonderful whirlpool tub for two. So peaceful and quiet. We can't wait to go back. If we could have stayed longer we certainly would have. We were welcomed by very friendly kitties and it was entertaining to watch the mountain squirrels and birds share the feeders.

Check in was very personable and welcoming! Beautiful setting and great accommodations.

Andrea and Isaac are wonderful hosts!  They provided a warm friendly atmosphere with amazing breakfast creations to start off our day.  This beautiful home is inviting, peaceful, very convenient and private with beautiful views.  We are definitely grateful we chose to stay here!

We stayed in the sagebrush suite. Fantastic room, all decked out in western gear, with great historical photos. Beautiful common room with tons of books for gen'l reading or local research. Great deck. Top-notch breakfast (huckleberry popover!) served by a very friendly staff. We would GLADLY stay again.

Best B&B EVER

Best first impression possible for Missoula

We just arrived back home from out Montana vacation. First stop, we flew into Missoula and decided to stay at Blue Mountain Bed & Breakfast. This is such a lovely place. I can tell the love poured into it and it really shows! The home is wonderful, warm and inviting the people were amazing, we really enjoyed meeting some of the pets! We stayed in the house in the Ponderosa Room and it was fantastic! Bed was comfortable, loved the fireplace (electric wall unit, super warm and cozy) and the clincher is the private balcony with amazing views. I would definitely stay again, this is a true gem! Thank you all so much for making our stay absolutely perfect!!

The Only Place I Will Stay in Missoula!!

A really nice place nestled in the woods between Missoula and Lolo. Hosts Andrea and Isaac were awesome Tuesday through Saturday! Isaac created wonderful breakfasts and Andrea was knowledgeable about the area, sharing ideas about local attractions. Pearl was wonderful (you will understand when you visit. Owner Brady took the reins Sunday and Monday and didn't miss a beat, with great food and conversation.

We would certainly visit again.

Our Blue Mountain B&B Stay

We had a wonderful stay!  Our room was spacious, quiet, and very clean.  Breakfast was very special with excellent fresh ground gourmet coffee and a tasty baked dish.  We enjoyed watching a range of birds feast on the array of feeders, but missed the black bear’s visit that morning!  Our hosts were friendly and professional.  Their friendly and well behaved poodle recognized us as dog lovers and hardly left our side.  Resort is proximate to the Lolo Steakhouse which we enjoyed. Highly recommend Blue Mountain

A wonderful stay!

I’ve stayed at Blue Mountain many times. The accommodations are spotless, the rooms are thoughtfully decorated, the mattresses are heavenly, check in was seamless and the breakfast was wonderful. Throw in the fact that Brady, Elaine, Isaac and Andrea do all they can to accommodate your every need; Blue Mountain is the only place to stay in Missoula.

This place was absolutely spectacular!! We loved so much and felt we wanted to live there forever!
We stayed at Rose Room and was romantic, peaceful, relaxed, and super comfortable. Their jacuzzi made it extra special.
We’d love to come back anytime in the future.

Best B&B Ever

The road going in is a very narrow dirt road (hopefully you do not encounter anyone coming the other direction).  The property is situated up on the mountain with pretty views, but the road noise from the freeway below is quite loud.  There are animals that live at the property (dog and cats) which I love, but some people might not appreciate pets in the kitchen/dining area when they are eating. I wouldn't right home about the breakfast it was scramble eggs, bacon that could have been cooked longer, buckwheat pancakes that none of us much liked, and strawberries.  The decor could use updating, it is a bit of mish mash of different styles (asian, cabin, indian mixed together).  The bed was comfortable.
