The Inn at Venice Beach

This place is the absolute BEST! I cannot say enough amazing things about the staff and experience my 13 year old daughter and myself had here. I usually look to stay at large chain hotels, but I am so thankful I went out on a limb and chose this place. Alfonso was so incredibly helpful and kind-it was so nice to see him each morning when we went on our daily walks and share our experiences of the day in the afternoon. My daughter and I came from Cleveland to LA for a K-Pop (not my jam, but the show was good!) concert as a Christmas/birthday gift for her and decided to stay at this boutique hotel--I absolutely loved this place, and my daughter did too (and that's a lot, coming from a 13 year old!). We stayed in the loft room and it was so nice being able to have my "own" upstairs area to relax after a long day; the beds were super comfortable and the pillows were FANTASTIC! It was a bit stuffy upstairs in the loft, but that's to be expected; there's a ceiling fan with adjustable speed that was helpful. The A/C worked well and regulated the room rather quickly. The furniture was very modern and aesthetically pleasing; nothing fancy about the bathroom, but that's ok--didn't need to spend much time there anyway. The small fridge was helpful for when I got tired of spending so much money on meals out (although, it was very much worth it--food in the area is fantastic!); the temperature in fridge was on point-something that I question at a lot in a lot of other hotel fridges. Would have been nice to have a little microwave, but that's nothing that lowered our level of satisfaction.
