we spent 4 days at the Garfield .Unfortunatly my husband was unwell some of the time .our hosts could not have made us feel more wellcome and nothing was too much trouble (Milan even offered to make soup for my husband)  the room was spotless the bed large and comfy.Breakfast was  1st class. We have made up our minds to revisit in the future.

This is a great little place for our family budget in the high season, we had the family room, bunks in the corner and a double. This was as expected, comfortably adequate to use as a base to explore beautiful Devon. Importantly the place was clean and tidy. Central location, literally 100 yards from the beach and 500 yards from the main town and station. The owner is a friendly gentleman who will see to your needs. Breakfast is ordered in advance, and is up to standard. It’s one of those where you will get exactly what you pay for. I phoned them directly, outside of the main booking sites and got a great deal. No parking though, will cost you about £10 a day. Marketed as budget, and does exactly what it says on the tin. If it’s a base to explore your after, at a good price, with a great location. This could be for you

We stayed at Garfield lodge for 4 nights with my family, it is a lovely b&b, Raj and Milan are the perfect hosts and breakfast was lovely every morning, they can't do enough for you, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Garfield lodge was a fantastic place to stay and was perfect for a 1 night stay in Paignton in June 2021. 
What made it so good was the location with it being very close to local attractions and shops. Also Raj had brilliant customer service skills. We wish we could of stayed longer.

Friendly staff rooms wer absolutely spotless and I can say if we ever go back to paignton we will be visiting this hotel again the rooms have everything you need and more and based right on the pier was a great stay.

Spotless very clean. Raj, Milan and Rajan are very friendly. They welcome me with a big smile. Plenty of choices for breakfast and you don't go hungry for a long time. They go an extra mile for your comfort. Very comfortable bed in a nice and cosy room. A lovely little guesthouse with good hospitality and friendly people. Nothing to complain.

The welcome was very good and we get a very clean room. The staffs were very kindly.
We had to say on the evening before, when and what we wish for breakfast. So we get a freshly and very good breakfast in the morning. The BandB is not far away from the train station. After a few meters you see the water and the promenade.

We stayed for one night. The room was spotless and clean. We were room 4 that had a American queen size bed which was  very comfy. Owner is really friendly and said they had only been there a month. Breakfast was lovely, plenty of choice. Close to beach.
Would definitely stay again.

Lovely B&B, very friendly staff member greeted us at the door on arrival and every time we went out and came back. 
Spacious ground floor family room ready for 2 adults and 2 under 10s. Very generous tea and coffee supplies waiting for us that were topped up every day. Plenty of storage space with a nice large cupboard to store our pushchair. 
Shower cubicle was on the small side but still usable, no water saving happening as couldn't get any more than 1 in at a time. 
No parking at the property but very close to a large multistory pay and display car park.
Close to the beach and multiple places to eat though would recommend booking in advance at pubs and restaurants as not many walk ins available for dinner time. 
Couldn't fault the place for the price we paid will definitely look to book here again in the future.
