Mary is a lovely, friendly and welcoming host. This is also a very interesting and beautiful home with an interesting history. I would stay here again. Very clean, handy location and beautiful room. Thank you.

We stayed here 9 years ago and the house and the owners were just as special this time as last.  We spent three nights with Mary Montgomery at Clanabogan Country House staying in Room #4, our traveling friends were in #2.  The home, part of which dates back to the 1600's, offers large comfortable rooms, beautiful sitting area, and outdoor patio.  Ms. Mary offered tea and snacks each afternoon and the breakfast were wonderful in the historic dining room.  We'll be back a third time if we're ever in the Omagh area again.

Mary and Robert couldn't have been kinder or more helpful.  My husband and I were in the county to visit my father's grave and Mary gave us flowers from her garden to put on the grave.  Our room had a good view of the garden which is lovely to walk in with beautiful and unusual trees.

This was a quaint and charming B&B for my extended family to stay in (10 of us ranging in age from 10 to 60). We were coming to Omagh for a short stay to see our ancestral town and meet some local family members. The location of the B&B was perfect - close enough to town, but also set in a serene and quiet countryside setting. The house exudes old charm, but was also clean, comfortable and well appointed.

Stayed 2 nights, a lovely, gracious older home. Our room looked out on their  beautiful, well kept grounds, with flowers and mature trees. Our room was spacious and comfortable, breakfasts were excellent. We enjoyed our conversations with the hosts and appreciated their help in providing information about the area and things to do. Not too far to drive to a good selection of restaurants.

From the moment Mary opened door it was warm and inviting, clean room good bedding  great breakfast ,Wish We could have stayed longer.

I had the feeling of staying in a Manor house.  Excellent breakfast and gracious hosts.  Quiet country location yet close to town.  Wish I could have stayed longer.

Loved everything about this place, old heavy doors , chandelier in the bedroom, sash windows and  lovely gardens. poirot and marple would feel right at home here. Can't find fault at all, wonderful place that we're already planning on revisiting

Robert and Mary went way beyond the call of duty in arranging to get our tire replaced (on a Sunday) after Avis and AA let us down. Oh, and of course, the room and breakfast were great. The grounds are also beautiful.

Superb B&B in a Historic Home

Great for a large group

Very pleasant 2 night stay

The proprietors made us feel at home immediately once we arrived, despite it being near 9 p.m. The room is dated, but that's to be expected, given that it's a registered historical building. That in itself presents challenges for B&B owners in Ireland, due to the considerable government oversight and rather curious rules (e.g., refusing to let owners install energy-efficient windows because drafty windows are supposedly good for the house!). Even so, we enjoyed our stay and, in particular, the scrumptious Irish breakfast, and headed north the next morning, relaxed and with full stomachs! A pleasant stay.

That was an adventure to book a hotel and you do not know a thing about a countryside . we were very very lucky to land in a beautiful area and beautiful house and hostess. the owner Ms Mary was wonderful and generous, the breakfast is excellent and by the way ...all homemade fresh food... I will for sure if I ever come close to that area to book again in the same hotel

A beautiful country house

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights. Our room was large and clean. Mary and her husband were helpful in directions, local history and Irish history. The B&B has a wonderful location, out in the beautiful countryside, but near the town and Ulster American Folk Park. If we ever get back to Ireland we will definitely stay there again.

Hosts are most welcoming & friendly. Breakfast is excellent (but then anything is better with wheaten bread!!!). Building is listed, but seems tired in places and in need of some TLC.
