Consistently excellent breakfast. High quality cooking accompanied with friendly and attentive staff. There is always a wide range of choice ( really good poached eggs ) and the place is spotless. I always stay here when I am near Basildon and I have never been disappointed.

The hotel was very good value for money for what we needed for a one night family room stay!
However I would not use the attached beefeater for breakfast! The staff were very stressed, unfriendly and rude and the food was very mediocre, so sadly this was not the best start to the day!

As always great prices, friendly staff. Was close enough to the venue that we had a family party, Uber cabs in plenty so had no worries of how to get there and back to the hotel after. 

We came from Malvern to visit family, it was more convenient for us to come to a hotel (less stress) so we came here we know it's a great place to stop and get a great night's sleep.

I had to stay close to the hospital for visiting my partner. The staff, especially Danielle, were amazing. The hotel is basic but has everything you need and was very clean.

Great stay. Customer service was fantastic. Phoned prior to arrival after finding out I'd booked the wrong room. Phone was answered on all occasions. Hotel was fully booked on first night but Carly and team worked hard to try and find a solution. Second morning they informed me there was a family room which they had reserved for me and transferred it all with no fuss.
Beefeater next door also has a small kids playground which was a bonus for us. 

Room was very spacious, huge bed and super comfy! 
Great breakfast in the pub next door.
Receptionist on Saturday saved the day with safety pins (wardrobe malfunction!) sorry I didn’t get your name - but thank you!

This is the first time I've stayed in a hotel on my own and I felt relaxed, comfortable and safe.  I had a great nights sleep.  It was close by to where I was going out for the night, Parking wasn't a problem and the staff were very friendly and helpful. 

We have stayed in this hotel on many occasions, as we visit family and friends in the Essex area. The rooms are very clean and spacious and have good facilities and it’s location is very convenient, the staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. 

Room nice and clean and but people above were very noisy walking up and  down early hours which was frustrating trying to sleep as need to be more considerate especially when there are younger children

Great stay

We have used this Premier Inn before as it is in a convenient location for visiting family. the room was clean and tidy. Good facilities for what we required and the staff on reception are very friendly and welcoming. As there is the Beefeater next door we used that each day for breakfast and had two evening meals there. The food is good and reasonably priced. They maybe could do with an extra person working front of house at breakfast time for those in a rush but as we were not in a hurry we were happy to wait. Overall we had a good stay and will happily return. 

4 Night Stay for Family visit

Great hotel ideal location for visiting our friends. Staff at hotel very friendly and welcoming 

The breakfast however was awful! This was at the beefeater attached. Very long wait for food, it was cold, half of the order didn’t turn up, mushrooms were raw, cold toast .
Such a shame . Disappointed. 
Should have gone to McDonald’s over the road.

Will definitely stay at hotel again but will eat elsewhere 

Lovely hotel poor breakfast

Lovely hotel stay, the rooms were clean and comfortable. I was also impressed with the service we received. We regularly stay at Premier Inns but this was the first hotel to contact us prior to our stay asking us to advise them of any special requests in order that they can have the room prepped for us. Unfortunately I forgot to reply to the email and called them one hour before check in. When we arrived they had undertaken all of our requests. This service really stood out to me.

Clean comfy rooms with brilliant customer service.

A nice stay for a friend's birthday.
Room was extremely clean.
Staff were helpful, needed an iron and they provided one.
