We absolutely loved our stay at The Place Hotel! With a family of 5, it is challenging to find accommodations to fit all of us comfortably. They had an apartment-style room with plenty of space and tea/coffee in the kitchen, along with some nice treats. The breakfast was an additional charge but so worth it, with traditional Scottish offerings as well as standard favorites, along with a beautiful arrangement of fresh fruits, pastries and yogurt. I also highly recommend the Edinburgh G and Tea, served at the hotel bar, which is wonderfully decorated and relaxing. The location was PERFECT! Walking distance to everything but not in the crowded, touristy area near the castle. Most of all, we appreciated how friendly and welcoming everyone was! We would like to send our gratitude to Sam and Jennifer in particular, however everyone was helpful and made us feel right at home. Thank you! We hope to visit again in the future!
