We stayed at Snipelands for 2 nights at the end of September 2023, in the Flaxley (Double) Room. We were visiting friends in Nailsea and had been finding it very difficult to find good quality and reasonably priced accommodation in that area, so were very pleased to come across Snipelands. It was easy to get in touch with Anne by email and phone before our stay, and we had no problems finding the B&B when we arrived. Anne gave us a warm welcome and we particularly appreciated the information that she gave us about operating the shower and front door. The room was an excellent size, with everything we needed for a short break. As others have noted, the tea and coffee tray was one of the best we’ve ever seen in a B&B! The bathroom was also an excellent size with the shower being particularly good. We very much liked the rural location  - it was very quiet at night, and we enjoyed watching the cows while we had breakfast (which was also excellent). All in all, we had a very enjoyable stay at Snipelands and would certainly consider staying there again in future.

A great stay!

We highly recommend this B&B.  Anne the host is very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. 

The room has an ensuite and both were very clean, tidy and very well equipped, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, safe, TV, Wi-fi, tea and coffee making facilities together with welcoming chocolates and a selection of biscuits.

The ensuite has guest towels, shampoo, shower gel and a lovely hot shower.

A great selection for breakfast, juices, cereals and/or a very satisfying full English.

It is situated in a peaceful location and the only thing that you hear at night are the local owls.

The X1 and X7 bus stop is a 100yrds away and for a £2 single ticket this takes you into Bristol Town Centre. 

We will definitely be returning to see Anne and to enjoy her hospitality in the new year!!!

Excellent Host, exceptional breakfast in peaceful surroundings.

Well I can not say enough ,great Host the best food room has the best views lots to do close bye.Bristol very close Very good walks in the area. breakfast  so many choices and home made .would highly recommend it .

Great Place to stay

This   is a wonderful place to stay peaceful great food the best Host .The rooms are large you could not ask for a better B@B.Also close to Bristol and many pubs,Anne is so helpful  and the choices for breakfast are great.

Hidden  Gem

Anne gave us a wonderful stay. A warm and friendly welcome. Spotless accommodation. Comfortable bed with top quality facilities. An extensive variety of breakfast choice and beautiful surroundings. What more could one ask !

Five star accommodation

This was everything you want from a B&B and more! Anne our host was lovely and greeted us on arrival , She explained how everything worked and if we needed anything at all just to ask. Breakfast was ordered night before with plenty of choices available, it was excellent with its homemade jams and free range eggs. Sitting at the breakfast table watching the cattle & wildlife outside was lovely. Everything about this B&B was spot on, comfy beds, very large double rooms , lovely en-suite, plenty of hot water etc. One of the best tea/coffee trays I think I’ve seen in any B&B/Hotel!! Dish of choccies by the bed. I can happily say I would highly recommend this B&B as one of the nicest we’ve stayed in and would definitely stay again if we visit area again. Oh and you are free to come & go with your own keys which is great. Thank you Snipelands ( Anne) we throughly enjoyed our stay and it was very easy access for my older Mum x

Lovely B&B in a beautiful rural setting.
Very comfortable bed and spacious room with an en-suite bathroom. Views over the fields.
Anne is a fantastic host and cooks a great breakfast.

Beautiful B&B quintessentially English 

(Anne and Steve) We had a very good stay at Snipelands. Anne was a very friendly and welcoming host. Our room was spacious, clean and well-equipped, with very good en suite shower room. Our kingsize bed in the 'Roseland' room was comfy and the room looked out onto open fields. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, including home-made fruit jam. We would definitely return to Snipelands. Thank you, Anne!

Comfortable and welcoming b&b

We came here for a wedding in September 2018, and had a really comfortable stay. As my wife was pregnant at the time, it was particularly good to stay somewhere so peaceful. Everything working, comfortable bed, kettle in room, no problems. Great breakfast. 

Anne was helpful, and gave some advice about where to go for various things. 

It is a very rural location, and there s a pretty walk you can do right from the b and b.

Lovely place with rooms larger than most bed and breakfasts. Rooms clean and comfortable with a big TV and big bathroom with a nice shower. Wonderful breakfast with a fantastic fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, porridge, toast and jams (a great optional change from the full English). Anne Lane is a marvellous host and gave valuable advice how to get to Bristol Airport. There is a lovely farm setting with free-ranging chooks and horses outside the window.
