This is unfortunately going to be a negative review - Arrived on 01/04 for a week and a half with my mum, was quickly said hello to at the door by the owner, no offer of helping with the suitcase/ bags, stayed in room 5 ( the room has 2 single beds, which 1 is right near the door so good luck getting out in the middle of the night if the fire alarm went off) However, when you enter the property there is a very BAD smell of wet dog. Climbed up 27 stairs to enter the room, with all the bags in tow. The room was not clean - the bedding was not freshly clean either, my mum's duvet stunk of what can only be described as a males body odour, so she had to ask for clean bedding. The carpet had not seen a hoover since I'd say 2011 - to which we asked to borrow the hoover, just for the carpet, even the hoover stunk of wet dog, so that was pushed all into the carpets for an even more pleasant smell, good job we'd got some air freshner in the case!! Had to ask for some more toilet roll, which appeared to be a hassle for the owner, to which they was left outside the room, not even a knock on the door to say "here you go" kind of thing. (they knew we was in the room as well). No fresh towels, or even an offer of having the room "cleaned", which is appalling for saying you have paid a fair amount of money.  Took us 2 days to get the shower working, we mentioned this to the owners, but was just told " it should be working, not an offer to pop up and have a look. As there was issues with the boiler last time we was here. I am thoroughly disappointed with my stay this time, we have stayed here twice before and had 0 issues. But this time round it seems like the owners just can't be bothered for customer satisfaction. The only positive is it's free parking on the front and it's in a good location, apart from that - it has nothing to offer, apart from a filthy bed, mucky carpets and possibly bedbugs.

Filthy hotel - book elsewhere

Reg and Lou who run the Miramar are both lovely and really helpful.
They also have a lovely little dog.
The Miramar is clean and tidy as you would expect.
Close to the Winter Gardens, tourist areas and main shops. Literally a few minutes walk.
Taxi to Blackpool North station is around £6.
Bedroom was a good size and ensuite, good pillows and duvet on the bed which was fine.  No issues.

Owners couldn’t have been more friendlier. Stayed Halloween and it was decorated amazingly

Lovely people

Reg and Lou were very welcoming, helped us out so much, Reg helped carry our luggage up to the room even leant me his daughters permit so I could park for the weekend round the corner. 
Had breakfast in Lou,s cafe which was absolutely beautiful. They were so helpful with a few things we needed. Clean and cosy. Would definitely book again. Thankyou

Very welcoming owners

I hate leaving a bad review but i wouldn't recommend this property it was dirty it smelt horrible, the cups were left from the previous guests and were dirty. The beds were uncomfortable didn't sleep the room needs a good make over. The owners were very nice though just a shame about the hotel itself.

Booked Thursday to Tuesday in a double room with myself and daughter. Was met upon arrival by reg and lou who was both lovely and welcoming. Reg carried our case up to our room which was room 1 so thankfully only 1 set of stairs. Room was clean with towels provided and a nice clean bathroom. Bathroom was clean with plenty of hot water. Bed was extremely comfortable with 2 pillows each which was a bonus. There was always great communication with the hosts and nothing was too much trouble for us or them. Had free parking there also which saves a great deal of money as now many hotels charge £10 per day to park. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend this to friends and family.

Absolutely discusting. Didnt sleep on the bed. Stunk really bad of dogs. beds werent clean. The carpets were sticky and not hoovered. I wouldnt put my dog in there to sleep

Hotel very dated. Had a very musty and smokey old smell all over. Bed very old and uncomfortable. Room 4/10.
