We stayed here for a wedding nearby and so glad we did as most of the other guests were staying in a big soulless corporate hotel....this is a lovely old stone building in a beautiful little village setting. Johnny and Paul couldn't do enough for us from phoning beforehand to let us know they're getting more fans for the rooms because of the heat, making lovely breakfasts for us and serving a great pint of cider, offering advice on local taxis and phoning to say I'd forgotten my charger before I'd got to far away on the drive home.... Our friends had to unavoidably cancel on the first of our 2 nights and were happy to pay for it but the owners refused to take their money....an unbelievable touch that wouldn't happen in other hotels. We'll definitely be back if we have any other events in the area and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others....
