Beachside Holiday Park

Our caravan was immaculately clean and very comfortable. The kitchen area was well equipped and the gas cooker was great. I did like that washing up liquid was provided in a welcome pack. The central heating worked very well and we were never short of hot water. 
The site is quiet and very well maintained. The staff members were friendly and very helpful.
The views were beautiful and it is only a very short walk to Westward Ho! shops where we could find everything we wanted. We highly recommend Hockings ice creams whatever the weather.
We loved the rabbits hopping around outside the caravans.
My son and I enjoyed our stay so much that we booked before we left to come again in 2024.

A very nice, clean and well laid out dog friendly site with ample space between the modern caravans. Set in an excellent location just a very short walk to the centre of Westward Ho and it's wonderful beach and lovely coastal walks,

Lovely site and comfortable accommodation. Our children love Westward Ho! and treat like home from home. I have been visiting the site since I was a young child and it has retained its intimate feel. We will continue to visit over the coming years.

Great location. Only a short walk into town and the beach. The Pier house pub is just a short walk in the opposite direction. The beach Lido is fantastic. Great for people of all ages. There is a park and amusements for children and lots of great places to eat out. There is a big green area in the centre of town where you can just sit and chill out. 

We stayed in a brand new pet friendly caravan for 2023, it was lovely with a nice 2 sided balcony with chairs, which had a great sea view, what more could you wish for. We loved it that much we have booked to stay again next year. The park was very clean and well maintained. And we just enjoyed the convenience of just been able to walk a few yards down to the promenade and you get lovely pubs and restaurants, arcades, anything you could want really. All in all we couldn't recommend a better place to stay. 

We discovered Beachside in the covid year of 2020 and been back every year since and I rarely return to places . The Puffin caravans have a fantastic view of sea , it’s an easy walk into town. I like you are not paying for extra entertainment - just paying for location , sea views and a warm clean caravan . Looking forward to going back in 2023 !

Just got back from beachside. Had a lovely weekend away, caravan was clean and spotless, nice and comfortable caravan. Not many people on site which was great nice and peaceful enjoyed watching the rabbits.

well maintained site easy parking ,mine was next to my caravan, clean tidy well equipped quality accommodation ,adjacent to esplanade and a short walk into westward ho! and the shops and eating places and of course the beach ! site managers are friendly and helpfull,nothing is too much trouble ..thank you for making us welcome.

We have been here 5 times now and it is hard to beat. The park is well maintained and all of the accommodation. 

We have stayed in the Driftwood apartment and Puffin caravans whenever we've been. Both have the most amazing sea views and parking immediately outside. 

Beachside is the only holiday park I ever come to when I don't worry about needing to clean it. Everywhere is spotlessly clean although the Puffin caravans are a number of years old now. 

The location is wonderful with the beach being a few minutes walk away and the village. 

M Rock n Bowl and Pig and Olive I'd highly recommend as places to eat. M Rock n Bowl is literally one minutes walk from the caravan park. 

Already booked to return in 2023.

We visited at the end of July as a family of 5.  The park is small, immaculately looked after and quiet.  There is no bar, park or restaurant but that's why we booked it, and there is plenty of that a stones throw from the site.

The caravan was immaculately clean, the picnic bench an added bonus for outside eating/drinking.  We had an amazing sea view out through a full length window.   We really thought we had the best one, but they are all superbly situated for the views. 

The staff on site are lovely, so helpful when we had a blockage issue.  Lovely to have a chat with the gentleman,  great personality.

Straight out the site onto the sea front, a few minutes walk to a great choice of shops, restaurants, takeaways and bars.    The beach was ideal for body boarding/surfing,  and is filled with rock pools to explore.

With children aged between 10 - 17 it's hard to please everyone but Beachside was a winner.  

We didn't want to leave, and we will be back next year.

Little Gem

This is a lovely modern apartment, with everything you require - plenty of space and great for pets. Travelled as a family of 5, (children 8 - 14) and 2 small dogs. 

Located upstairs, the balcony area is secure and safe for small dogs, a wonderful view of the beach and sea views. Car parking space is reserved opposite. 

Bedrooms and kitchen area have a luxury feel, comparable to a decent hotel and finished to a high standard. 

Booked last minute due to some fantastic weather, the apartment was extremely warm like everywhere, I'd recommend bringing your air con or fan along for a stay in very warm weather. 

I would definitely recommend this apartment, it just doesn't compare to any of the caravans, air b and b or accommodation available on the sea front. 

What we really like was the personal and individual service of the managers, this is rare and made us feel welcome! 

Waterside Apartment. Perfect location and view.

I love this place, came here last year and couldn’t wait to return.  Have been visiting north devon for over 35 years and this is my favourite caravan park which is perfect now as our kids are older (19 & 14).   The park is so peaceful and well looked after and the caravan was perfect for our needs.   Every caravan has a sea view and you can see across the sea to Saunton sands.  The location is amazing you literally walk out of the park onto the promenade which makes it so easy for a day on the sandy beach or for an evening walk to see the stunning sunsets.  The beach is sandy and has the amazing pebble ridge with the northam burrows behind it.  The park is also well located for exploring north devon.

Probably one of the best Family Owned Caravan Sites in the UK..........  

We have been coming to Westward Ho! for well over 30 years and always staying in the sister Caravan Park called "SURF BAY" but this years we had to change and despite change not being welcomed we found that we had a brilliant holiday with Beachside and dare I say it with adult children now this was a better position for us all now.......  

If you want a holiday that gives you the chance for some real rest and relaxation with a bit of food and drink available you can't go far wrong with Westward Ho!  Though you also need a place that offers the choice of all this on your doorstep but not in your face and this is where Beachside Holiday Park comes in.  No glitz and glamour of an on site swimming Pool or a Club House with bar and entertainment, this is all about getting the most out of where it is and if you want a pool its just outside the exit SEA POOL or an indoor swimming pool is only 15 minutes drive away) and if you want night life, bars and restaurants this is only a 10 minute walk away in the centre of Westward Ho! complete with cocktail bar, pubs aplenty and amusements for the kids.   

At Beachside Holiday Park you get great comfortable caravans with stunning sea views, and the sea just outside your door, easy access in and out of the site and a swimming pool in the sea a stones throw away if you are brave...  

There is a great variety of caravans available as well as a few high end Apartments and all the staff were as friendly and as helpful with your every need..... not that there was any need as they seemed to have years of experience to ensure that everything is as it should be.    Bridget the site manager was always available for a chat or advice and the site was kept in tip top condition with well manicured lawn areas and flora in abundance.  The cleaners were brilliant and always offering a smile and a hello as you walked past them and every one seemed to enjoy their jobs and simply get on with it.  

The site was also home to a small number of wild rabbits, wood pigeons, seagulls  and the odd Hedgehog which was lovely to see when you are arriving home at dusk and catch a glimpse of them even if you may have had a few drinks more and they seem to sneak up on you ands surprise you walking past your caravan..... 

There is all the bars and restaurants you will need a small walk away and this walk is along the seafront and always fantastic views aplenty. 

So if you want a holiday to remember with stunning views from well kept caravans you will not go very far wrong than with Beachside Holiday Park.  

Well done all on a great site and will be looking forward to being there again next year.

Probably the best Caravan Park in the area bar none.   Its all about  LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION.....
