Located in a dense central area of hotels more or less of the same level, quite close even to the most interesting sites. They asked us about 20 € for the double with breakfast in the balcony.

Essential hotel, fine to stay a night or two

Hotel is in good position,best thing about it is it has nice aquarium ha...it is old and unkept,dirty bathroom,non smoking room smells of cigarettes..keep away...not a good experience !

Stayed here for one night. Hotel situated close to main attractions. Easy walking distance to train station, bus to otagar and bus agencies. The room was clean, warm, the staff friendly and helpful - they took our bags to our room! Breakfast is basic but adequate. There is a lift. Wifi worked well on in our 5th floor room. The water in the shower was just warm. There is the ever present smell of cigarette smoke everywhere that you get in this standard of hotel in Turkey.
Tip : we walked in off the street without a reservation and the price was 49TL less than we would have paid through booking on a well known booking site.

Good basic budget hotel.

Overall a satisfactory stay if rather bland. The hotel is well past its use-by-date but rooms are cleanish, beds are fine, hotel is comfortable and staff are helpful if lacking in English - some speak well and others not at all but they will use the phone to contact someone that does speak English.

There is no aircon in the rooms so its a bit hot in summer and you do get quite a bit of noise until late if the window is open. 

Breakfast is the standard but sufficient.

It is a non smoking hotel but I am not sure that policy is in anyway enforced - ashtrays are everywhere.

The hotel is bit like Erzurum - not quite sure why I came and cant possible imagine why I would come back but there is nothing really negative about it (or positive).

Basic but fuctional - you pay for what you get

Located at walking distance from the main monuments of the city and with a Metro bus company office nearby (which offers servis to the otogar) and reasonably clean this hotel represents a good choice for a short visit. No English spoken at the reception desk. Breakfast bellow average, served in a cramped space just under the roof. No fridge in the room. Paid 85 TLY/night for a double booked thgrough booking.com.

Good for a Short Stay

For one night it's fine, the good side is the parking on the street of the hotel. The poor breakfast, it seemed uncool to me, the rooms are simple with everything else, the bathroom is very small and a little dirty, but overall acceptable. The city of Erzurum is a surprise, very nice.

Yeni Ornek Hotel is situated in a central area of Erzurum, with most other hotels in the vicinity. It is a few minutes walk from main attractions (mosques and shopping...). It's a nice mountain style hotel. Staff is friendly and very helpful, their organized for us a one day auto tour in the valleys of the Georgian churches. Rooms are clean, and there are quite interesting paintings in the sitting area of each floor.

Friendly and cozy

Clean room, although personel doesn't speak English a very pleasant welome.
Really tried to understand what I wanted (bus to Tunceli) and made several phonecalls to help me out...And they did :-)
Provided me with a very convenient Erzurum map.
