We were in hotel for one night in summer , it was so warm there was no AC and if we open the window the neighborhood was so noisy . 
The staff were so helpful.
Breakfast was fresh and good.
Location was in city center, there were restaurant and shops around.

In summer be careful about AC!

No AC so the room was hot. We opened the window which helped a little but was very noisy  due to being on a busy street and made the room smell of car exhaust. The bathroom was dirty with hair on the floor, empty toilet paper, and empty soap. The linens were also dirty with black smears on the pillows.

Comfortable room and convenient location.  Great breakfast.

Got a good rate as we booked at the hotel. We got a smoking room as non other available. The sheets and pillows smelt of cigarettes. Lousy pillow. Good shower. Usual basic  breakfast. English not spoken. 

Clean budget hotel

Clean pleasant full service hotel.  Not much Englsh spoken, but this is a long way off the tourist route. Excellent breakfast, handy to the train station and principal sights. Recommended. Very willing staff.

Excellent simple, comfortable hotel.

Nice location, helpful staff, great breakfast. Only negative is room was small in size and no kettle available.

The most important memory I have about this hotel was that it was sooooo hot in the room!  Even the isles were cooler than our room. So that you know: this hotel doesn't have AC. No problem during winter months, but in the summers it will be uncomfortable.
We could not widely open the windows, because of the noise outside ( it will eventually get quite) 
When we told the staff that it was so hot, they said that the nights are cool in Erzurum, which is true, but a room which received sun for the whole day will stay hot! 

I found the room a little bit too small for a 'family' room. The children (2) practically slept on a sofa and we had two 1 person-beds. The bathroom however was big! 

The breakfast was one; just general Turkish breakfast. The staff was very nice. 

I found the hotel a little bit overpriced as there was also no AC. 

So warm! 

A small hotel in the heart of the city. After a long day of sightseeing, of course, we wanted to rest and we were glad that we had not made a mistake in choosing the hotel. The room was quiet and the beds seemed very comfortable.

In the center of town

The Grand Hitit is is nice clean hotel with good facilities and centrally located (although Erzurum is quite small and everywhere is close).
The staff are great and the breakfast is also good. English was a bit of a problem but smiles and gestures got me through that and all good.
Wi-Fi is excellent.
It is only a short walk to the station if you are catching a train but quite a distance from the new bus station (free shuttle bus). That said the new bus station is in the middle of nowhere and closer to the airport than to the town.

Good clean hotel and centrally located

This is a very decent and clean hotel with helpful staff. I thought it was worth every penny.

The free wifi worked very well. 

The Turkish breakfast buffet was of good quality (except the coffee, which was really bad).

I was a little surprised that my room had not been cleaned a single time during my 3-night stay. But then, I guess it is not really necessary.
