220 reviewsI had such a good stay at Silver Cliff. Karen was extremely friendly and accommodating, and she provided everything I needed. I stayed during COVID so the place was quiet, but she made sure to ask me personally which drinks I would like so she could get them from the shops for me, in case she didn't already have them! Her guesthouse is in such a beautiful spot, I immediately felt relaxed there. There's lots to do around the area too, but even just to stay at the guesthouse and chill out there is a worthwhile experience. Karen also took me on a walk down the river which was absolutely gorgeous, and arranged for us to eat a lovely home cooked curry together in the evening as well. She's such a warm person who was very interesting to talk to! I wish I had had the chance to go back but unfortunately I had to leave Thailand shortly after my visit to Khao Sok. Due to COVID the whole area is pretty quiet right now, but actually this makes for a very peaceful experience, so I would recommend to stay here at this time anyway. There are also some very reasonably priced tours which Karen can help you organise. Plus the breakfast was huge and tasty!
