This place was cool. We had a regular apartment, it was perfect size for 2 people, very comfortable. (big dbl bed, work desk, and good size bathroom) Very clean room and bathroom. Its not a hotel/ hotel- its more like a Air bnb type place in normal residential apartment block- there is no front desk or staff on hand to talk with or help wth tours and information however this was fine as we are independent travellers. The neighbourhood is safe and very local not filled with travellers and feels like REAL Taipei. 7-11 Convenience store downstairs, great 24 hour restaurant/ pub across the road (not noisy), street food and night markets nearby. its located in New Taipei city therefore you need to do a short walk to the subway to get to attractions like Taipei Tower etc. The WiFi was excellent and had cable TV with many english channels. Overall we really liked this place and would definitely stay again. Make sure you have the phone number handy as you'll need to call the staff to let you in.
