Fantastic hotel! I found this place on the internet. Not listed on many sites so I consider myself fortunate to have found it. Situated on the corner of a busy crossroads, it used to be an apartment before undergoing renovation earlier in 2014. The reception staff were exceptionally polite and even showed us to our rooms, almost harking back to a bygone age? The rooms were large, spacious and very comfortable. Decor was minimalist (how I like it) and unfussy. I loved the basic bathroom with the piping hot shower and simple furnishing. The bedroom was huge and the bed itself was nice and comfortable. There was no wardrobe but for a one night stay, the hanging area was perfect and meant that I didn't have to go rummaging through a tangle of coat hangers to get my shirt.I wish there were more hotels like this - absolutely perfect for someone like me who travels for work. This gem makes a real change from the sterile pension type places I normally stay in. Well done Oltnerhof!
