Hotell Mollösunds Wärdshus

If you visit this charming little seaport, skip the pizza places and take a few steps from the waterline to have  a nice lunch with fish or seafood. A short but agreeable menu. The very best shrimp sandwiches. Fast service if you come in the end of lunch hours and comfortable seating outdoors. Reasonably priced for Sweden at $ 25 pp including beer and coffe.


The hotel is in a quiet and beautiful fishing village. Arriving after 16.00 the reception is closed but passing the secondary entrance ( located behind the restaurant ) you have direct access to the rooms. Knowing that the restaurant was closed , we ask for an excellent cold dinner of fresh shrimp ( local product ) . The room was small but comfortable with a good bed and a beautiful sea view . Small and uncomfortable bathroom . At guests' disposal espresso machine and kettle with tea and coffee , fridge and iron and ironing board . Good breakfast with little choice of sweets .

Mollosunds Wardshus serves delicious dishes with carefully selected ingredients from local producers. The view of the harbor and the sea adds an extra dimension. The village i a charming and genuine fishing village. Really worth a visit.

We stayed at the Mollosunds Wardshus for two nights. It is quite expensive, but all accomodation in this area is. 
The room was small but comfy and clean. The TV is at the side-wall which is uncomfortable and not many channels. WiFi works good. 

We did not eat in the restaurant, they had no table. 

Breakfast was small but high quality. Cheese, jam, bread, müsli, coffee, etc. All you need. 

The owner is very nice and gave us tips for the onward journey.

Beautiful fishing village

Nice small hotel 

Mollosunds Wardshus – delicious dishes Service excellent.

We stayed at Mollosunds  Wardhaus for 3 nights.The rooms were spare but the food was 
Michelin star quality.The owner /chef produced the best fish dishes.This more than made up for the noisy nights and thin walls.The village is charming.
We would stay again.
