105 reviewsMy wife and I booked our stay here for the last two nights of our Sri Lanka holiday. What a little gem it is. Only a 5 minute tuk tuk drive from Negombo bus terminal. We had come up on the AC highway bus from Galle. We arrived for breakfast and we had complimentary breakfasts while they got our room ready, even though we were early by a couple of hours. The staff were super helpful and very efficient. The breakfasts are great, I recommend the fruit pancakes. There is a small swimming pool but the beach is just a hop skip and a jump away: a minutes walk. It's not the most pristine beach, but I swam each day with no nasty after affects. There are a few restaurants and bars with free loungers on the beach, if you just prefer to sun bath and watch the katamarams ( The Tamil word for them) and the men fishing for prawns. Just a minutes walk up the lane and you are on the main road . Here there are plenty of places to eat and have a coffee or something stronger. All are very reasonably priced. We were glad we had an extra night here and did not have to rush around to get to the airport. Plenty of tuk tuks are on the main road and we got one for 2,000 rs to take us and our cases to the airport. All very straightforward .
