I recommend walking to three supermarkets and one Mac Donald's. There was no heating in this part of Spain in the winter. There are portable electric heaters in the rooms. Although the apartments are not in the center, it is very convenient to get to all the attractions nearby.

Apartment with excellent location to visit the city of Gerona, very central, close to supermarkets and with easy access to the city.

 Holiday accommodation

My husband and I stayed in Pau Casals for 1 1/2 months.  We cooked almost nightly, slept well (firm beds, quiet neighborhood), and because we like to walk, we could easily get around either on foot or bus.  Plenty of grocery stores nearby.  Extremely helpful reception desk.  Clean apartment.  All the facilities you need for a long stay.

Great surprise!

I stayed here for a week and to be honest this place NEEDED air conditioning. It's been boiling all week and it's uncomfortable. For that reason I was going to give 3 stars but I guess that would be unfair as 9 months of the year it's probably OK without air con? Moving on, the apartment is well equipped with things like dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer. It's more like living in someone's home. Location is OK, about 8mins or so to city centre. Balcony is large and we used it to dry clothes on. However it doesn't really get any sun during the day. Has a decent view though. We personally didn't like girona though (lacks the character and authenticity of somewhere like seville) and headed elsewhere (cadaques and palamos), however this shouldn't affect my review of this property. All in all, a decent flat - not modern and trendy but does the job, well equipped and everything worked. Perhaps consider finding somewhere with air conditioning if travelling in the hottest months of the year ?

Comfortable apartment. Well located. Well equipped and clean kitchen, with new appliances (including dishwashers), comfortable and hygienic sofa and chair, which seem quite new, necessary so as not to miss anything. The refrigerator was in operation, so as to be able to use it no further. If any more kitchenware (there is only 1) and a roll of kitchen paper were missing. The sober living room, but comfortable. A flat TV of 32 inches with enough channels; a comfortable sofa and chair, which seem quite new, so as not to miss anything. The refrigerator was in operation, so that we could use it no further. The main bedroom with a very large bathroom, 2 bathrooms, a full bathroom and a full bathroom, but the rooms were very clean and comfortable. We like the proximity to everything: the city center is within walking distance, the train station is 5 minutes away.Supermarkets on the same street.The perfect apartment maintenance and many details are taken care of new TV, comfortable sheets and mattresses, there is free wifi and Garage on request.The staff is very attentive.

Like at home.

The floor has been given to us dirty, with remains of having been rented and given to us without cleaning it before, debris in the toilet, beard hair in the sink.... fatal. It has no basic things to be rented for tourist purposes, no paper or kitchen drapes, no toilet paper, or any roll. The floor stinks from the drains and looks like a dirty student apartment, rented without being renovated or set up.
