We enjoyed our stay in Franschhoek and liked the modern apartement at Fabriek Naionale. The apartement had everything we needed: Small kitchen, fridge and freezer, safe. The restaurants and attractions were in walking distance and there was secured parking for our car. We enjoedy being able to go out for dinner on foot.

We stayed at Unit 8 in Fabriek Nationale for 2 nights in April and loved it.  We had booked a couple of months prior to our stay, via airbnb (with a superb host, Florence, who answered all our pre-travel questions quickly and comprehensively).
We were greeted at the accommodation by Peter, who was friendly, punctual and polite - he recommended a number of local spots and had kindly provided welcome treats (a bottle of wine and chocolates!) which was a lovely gesture. There was also water and milk in the fridge and tea/coffee provided.  Peter made sure that both the check in and check out procedures were absolutely seamless.
The apartment itself is in a secure block with gated parking if you are bringing a car.  It is freshly furnished and immaculately clean.  Plenty of space and superbly located only a few minutes stroll from the main street in Franschhoek and those all important wine trams!
There is an excellent "local info" folder provided in the apartment and the WiFi was great.
We loved our little stay here!  Thanks to all!

Modern, reasonably prized apartement in central location

Spotless apartment, friendly host, great location, good price!

If you have heavy suitcases beware! The stairs are steep. 
The room itself is modern, with a nice view of trees. The gent who greeted us was very friendly, with complimentary wine and chocolates which no one can argue with!

I stayed here for 2 nights and found the bed so small and uncomfortable. I ended up both nights getting the cushions off of the sofa and sleeping on the floor. I would suggest some better mattresses. It appears quite safe, wifi is good and this town is beautiful.
