Economically and centrally, for the rest, you have to close one eye, or two, and in the end, it offers what it promises, so if you're happy with it, then you're looking for something else, dirty rooms and uncomfortable beds.

Economic and central

I thought it was the usual exaggerations of spoiled tourists but... it's all true! The disturbing entrance is very narrow: dark hallway, with the smell (not just smell!) of sewage, homemade reception but gentle, rooms PUSSELY PUSSELY! I think it's because they use untreatable water for the drain! Fire. Close the lid and bathroom door. H2 with window but the worst smell. H4 small but lively. H5 intermediate. For the rest, perfect location, in the middle of the rooms and things to see. All on foot.

I couldn't believe it, but it really smells!

The hotel is cheap and very central, and the reception desk is quite nice, but these are the only advantages. In the bathroom there was a very unpleasant and unhealthy smell of persistent sewage, which I couldn't get out of even by keeping the small air conditioner on for hours during the night. Around 4:00 am I was awakened by the bangs on the walls and the noise of machines that never stopped. I slept no more than 4 hours and at 6:30 am I left. The room had no windows on the outside, but only a small window on the hallway. I had to keep the air conditioner on to compensate for the unregulated thermophone.

Unpleasant experience

The last night of our stay in Romania before the flight, we made our choice through the internet, we didn't expect anything to bubble up at this price but something simple, convenient and clean (see photos on the internet). We paid our room 44 euros and fell into a rat hole. The reception was short and the room only had a window that looked out onto a hallway, the room was dark, terribly anxious, the room smelled of tobacco and moss.

When you first look for a hotel for your location, you often come across expensive and uncomfortable hotels. This is not the case. Located in the busiest part of the city, it is still affordable and the rooms are very comfortable.

Spacious, affordable rooms and quality hospitality

Apart from the fact that the hotel is located in the heart of Bucharest, there is no other advantage to coming to the Miorita Hostel. When I arrived there was no more water inside the establishment... toilet and shower were therefore unusable, for more than 24 hours. Also, I managed (by miracle) to get a room with window on the outside, but despite this the ambient air is warm and stifling. For the... a noisy, flooded bathroom as soon as water is poured out, the shower door does not run (see), a lamp is no longer running when I am there, the pouch was fixed, the bad photos are taken, in short... which is not electrifying.

The nightmare.

A good note and the reason why this hotel exists is the location and breakfast because it's not in a hotel, but in a hotel next door that offers you 8 menus. Fashionable entrance, a dark hallway that leads to a kind of basement; small and not very clean room, no windows you don't know what time it is out until you get out; the shower was losing water and the bathroom lit up every time you washed; also very unfortunate episode, the booking price was 84€, we were challenged and asked for 90€ ignoring our printed booking, but for 6€ we didn't like stories.
