Big and clean rooms, very close to the ski sloops in Azuga. The restaurant has a good divers menu, with a great drinks/wine selection. The owners are very nice and carrefoul with the guests needs. Just make sure to make a reservation in peak season.

During our stay in Azuga with some spanish friends, we heard about the great food at Seranna. 

They have the best sausages we have ever tasted. Our friends tried all traditional courses from pork with beans to tripe soup and they were all delicious.


We went there beginning of February with our two boys for sky only  and I must say that i was impressed by the services they offered,more then friendly,always get the best advice,very nice food,walking distance to sky lanes.Owners of the establishment very friendly,felt like home,highly recommended, we enjoy every moment of it.One tip-if want to try something different i highly recommend Golden slade-Saniuta de aur,perfect food!!!not far from Seranna

Great Restaurant with traditional food

I can not comment on the accommodation, but as far as the restaurant is concerned, ... they better fire the chef, before he/ she ruins their reputation and business.

We've been there in January 2014, but tried this year too. Twice, hoping the next day there is a different chef on duty. But it wasn't!

I ordered a soup (tripe soup) and a second course (beans with smoked bacon). Wife only asked for a second course, something grilled. Which means we did not ask for anything sophisticated, nor was the restaurant particularly busy ...

Nevertheless, it took quite a while until I get my soup. It was ok, but the tripe itself wasn't as tasty - they'd better change the source.

The second course came, but bean was poorly cooked and the meat was barely heated. I can only assume the chef thrown a piece a meat in the microwave oven, kept it there for a minute or so and with that he finished his job. It was completely cold inside.

But at least I got my order, within a reasonable time. ... sort of.

Well after I finished, my wife's meal finally came too. Well, not particularly impressive, but ok. But sure enough, after waiting for so long, the mood was obviously spoiled.

We also asked for a certain wine, they said is finished and they'll bring next day. Guess what, next day, it wasn't there ...

Frankly, I regret writing this kind of review, as the owners obviously made some efforts to make the place nicer, a noted several improvements since last year, it looks quite nice.

Service is fine and with a bit of extra training, it can become really good.

They have separate place for smokers, as non-smoker you are not disturbed at all. They also have a nice terrace outside, think it is great during summer.

It simply could be a great place! 

But if such simple and traditional courses can not be made properly and in time, for God sake, they'd better fire the chef immediately!

My son was looking forward to staying here, but was bitterly disapointed, as were we. 
In the pictures you can see why. The playground area was filled with rubbish, with a big burning pile of rubish (including broken glass bottles) in front of the slide. 
The food was bad. We had pickles which smelled terrible, bland soup and not great sausages. I also had trout which was decent. Breakfast was also a dissapointment. Stale bread, eggs not done as asked and no choice of tea (standard some kind of fruit flavor). 
The room was decent, though a bit noisy from the stairs and the plumbing. Price was quite decent, though we stayed in a much larger place for less money in Gheorgeni. 
I would not recommend staying here, unless you took all meals elsewhere and then only for location close to the ski lift.
