Really great hotel. In the perfect location (we thought) it’s located just off the main street which has lots of designer shops like Prada and Gucci. It is in a quiet area and never had problems with noise at night. The breakfast was reasonable with scrambled eggs, bacon, beans, bread, fruit, yoghurts, cold meats and come sweet treats too. The hotel is about a 30 minute walk to the waterfront. There is a lovely market which is about a 20 minute walk that is in Praça da Figueira the market is there from the last Tuesday of every month for 11 days, it’s open 10am-9pm and had lots of food and drink options. The wine is lovely from Ma Rai Ma Luca which you can get a plastic refill wine cup for €5 the first time and then if you bring back the cup it’s just €3 after that. All such lovely staff there as well.
