We were very disappointed in our stay at Monte da Corte Ligeira. In fact, we left a day early. 

The bathroom was really unpleasant with rust everywhere and taps that dripped continuously. 

There was no maid service, which may be the case in this type of accommodation (I don't know). However, it would have been useful to know and should be put on the website. 

The area adjacent to the pool was full of dog excrement. We actually saw the dog using the area to defecate. This caused a very bad smell and many many flies in the pool area. It appeared nobody cleaned up after the dog.

The wifi did not work and when some other guests asked Nadia about it she said she had no idea and wasn't technical. There was no-one else to ask. When we did need to speak to Nadia on another occasion we went to find her but found our way stopped by the same large dog, which barked continuously at us. We felt very intimidated and could not get to speak to her. 

We felt the charge of 90 euros a night, given the standard of  accommodation, and the problems with it, was unacceptable. For example, the Hotel Museu in Mertola was charging the same price, including breakfast, and daily maid service, but the standard in accommodation and service generally was far, far superior to Monte da Corte Ligeira.

Very disappointed

A very quiet place, good for rest and great for the children. A very nice swimming pool, pleasant playroom and responsible for very nice accommodation. I recommend and thank you to those who recommended the place to us.

Calmness

Fortunately, we only spent one night here. The location on the hill would have the potential for a paradise, but unfortunately, without work, it is not possible. The cleanliness of the rooms is still acceptable. The breakfast room is still a smooth luxury! Apart from coffee, we didn't consume anything, it was just too awkward. At night our own dogs barked for hours, sleeping was one o'clock not to think about. The pool can be used, but around is a construction site. There is no sun, the only seating option was a wooden bench. Comfortable is something else. Next/care: Yes, 18 km... because we booked it in the Olimar catalog. The price for the Reider was too high to think about. The only place to sit was a wooden bench. The only place to stay was a nice restaurant! This was the only place you could get a good night's sleep!

Great location but too expensive & dirty

The mountain served to accommodate us during the first weekend of March, during the Mushroom Festival (SILARCA) in the wonderful village of Gorda Cabeza. The location and scenery of this mountain is breathtaking. The experience of breakfast is wonderful, in the annex that has a huge glass to a stunning landscape where the stones are queens and where we can contemplate many of their nests. The sympathy of those who hosted us was something that filled our hearts and the breakfast was great with the Alentejan bread as a landscape. The room was good and comfortable, the magnificent for a beautiful landscape and for a very beautiful nest of stones, but at this point in early March, it was necessary to keep the armour always connected. I also think that the doors of the general entrance are not even closed for a few days, for example, for those who want to spend a few days in paradise.

Very good.

The Ligeira Corte Mountain, located about 17km from Beja, is Agroturismo in its splendor. The rooms are pleasant, although they need some attention. The living room and games are fabulous. The surrounding area is breathtaking! The breakfast is normal, they may lack a more rustic touch. The attendance is very familiar, everyone is of a scary sympathy.

A paradise

We arrived and there was no one to welcome us. The room was never cleaned. The children's pool was dirty and on the last day the larger pool was not cleaned. The space has great potential but it's underutilized.

Improving

The house is located on a small hill and is easy to find. It is easy to follow the signs Agro turismo. It is surrounded by fields and many storks on wooden power poles. The facility is very carefully assembled, everything fits together wonderfully. You feel like you've been transported back to earlier times. So roughly the estate must have lived. Our room was also very nicely furnished with a view of a tiny inner courtyard. The living room is huge with an open fireplace. Even a pool table was there. We were the only guests. We met a French family perfectly in the short term. The owners are very pleased. A hand pool and easy access to a large indoor pool are available in front of the house. It's almost easy to reach with a large kitchen.
