Extremely noisy and lot of hooting taking place at the gate. Owner involved in regular shooting incident. Also pulled a gun at one his guests in February. Dodgy activity going on. Owner extremely rude. Definitely not recommended this place

Unpleasant

No soap and no plug for the sink plus half the shower door missing so water all over the floor. That should have warned us. No water to drink. Reasonable wifi. The thing that really bugged us though was being ripped off for a taxi ride into town organised and quoted for by this place. Double the normal cost? No. Over 3 times the other 3 taxi rides we organised ourselves. Oh yes, and the breakfast was pants too. 

Avoid this if you don’t want to be ripped off

It's a very nice place to eat, but it's a little too far from Windhoek, not too far from Windhoek, but it's very convenient for most people.

Clean & maintained plant

I booked this place for friends who came to Namibia to visit. As they only arrived a day later as planned I decided I'll stay at the pension for the night together with my husband! We were shocked, the pool area was a mess, the furniture was broken and stacked on top of each other. A staff members came in his pajamas (it looked like pajamas) and "cleaned" the pool. We decided we get a drink at the bar area, to our surprise the bar was used as a storage room, with windows covered with sheets. 
The room wasn't much better, showerpipes were broken, and the towel hangers scratched, light over the bathroom mirror lipped of. Next day at reception I tried to talk to someone, the Persian at reception, waved me off and told me he's not responsible, I should talk to the staff at the breakfast room. 
We cancelled the booking for our friends and booked them into a different beautiful B&B. 

Not a place to recommend 

When we arrived, the reception was not occupied, the guard neither greeted us nor paid attention to us. After some time of waiting, we accidentally found the key with a lubricant on the counter. At the request of the guard whether we should talk to a hotel employee, he came after a short time, but he did not appreciate us. Very unfriendly and no greeting. When we asked him about excursion opportunities, we got the answer no idea and that he could not give any information and the responsible party ended. Then we went to the reception and had to look for our room alone. We did not expect help in carrying the luggage. We also had to wait for restaurants in the whole area to get a great deal of food and refreshment.

Poor service

Have stayed here three times: twice in 2012 and once in 2013. Walk-in vault is great for storing fiearms before and after hunting trips. Only 3.6 miles from Joe's Beer House, which I really enjoy. I'll be back in June 2015 for my next hunt near Kamanjab.

Good value, friendly staff

When we arrived there, the owner told us that he had a problem with the worker who was in charged of the bookings and he had double booked a lot of people, so there wasn't abailability for us for that night. He offered to help us book in another place and called the place we told him. So, in the end, we couldn't stay there, but we were almost glad because we didn't have a good of it.

Nice accommodation in a comfortable and quiet room, with a small swimming pool - free wifi available - located in the far outskirts of the capital, thus poorly suited for evening outings

Comfortable

It's a very nice little lodge that's just outside the entrance to the town of Windhoek. No noise in the evening. Nice house and nice rooms too. The swimming pool space is very nice. Breakfast is very nice too, because it's like home. Nobody makes their own breakfast.
