We visited Zagora as part of a birthday adventure, we wanted somewhere character to stop in Zagora and Riad Dar Sophian didn't dissapoint. From pulling up in the car we were given a warm welcome, our luggage was carried inside and once checked in delivered to our rooms, we were given a welcome drink around the pool whilst our room was readied. The room was cosy, but felt very in keeping with the tradional style of the riad don't expect flat screen TV's -or any TV's but there is excellent wifi. The room was clean and despite the chaos of Morocccan roads the whole place had an air of calm to it. We ate around the pool on from their fairly priced menu -the food was absolutely first rate. One of the things we wanted to do was get photographs at the "timbuktu 52 days sign" the riad handily has one in the car park :-)
