This place is amazing! We want to thank Myra so much for her great hospitality at the Riad! The staff is very kind and attentive to details. It is a beautiful and a welcoming place, and we had a great time!

This place is amazing!

This was an unplanned hotel stop for us in Marrakech, as we’d planned to stay at a western hotel for our first trip to Morocco, but ran into unsolvable problems with that hotel.  So, in the middle of the night, the Al Fassia Aguedal had a couple rooms available, we reserved a room and then moved in the following day for a 3-night stay.  Were we lucky we did. By moving into a Riad, we got a much more authentic Moroccan experience. Instead of a nice western-style suite, we got a Riad with a comfortable suite in a room that is authentic and the entire Riad is real, so you feel like you are in Morocco every step in the Riad whether reception, tea service at check-in, walkways, courtyards, gardens within the walls around it, etc.  Fassia’s staff are universally outstanding, thoughtful and helpful. The AM breakfast is good and served at table rather than buffet (e.g., to-order eggs including Moroccan (have to seek/ask for it), fab fresh OJ, cheese, ham/sausage, multiple breads/croissants, mixed fruits, nice yogurt). The staff gladly helped arrange a tour to the Atlas Mountains, dinner reservations, and anything else we desired. When we had to check out to make an early, 07:00 flight out, they were concerned about making sure all details lined up, including transportation to the airport, and an early breakfast available for us. The weak point is it’s a bit too far to walk to the Medina and souks, but cabs are plentiful and cheap. This was also a good value, and way better than the western hotel in the Hivernage area. We’d definitely return.

Great marrocan hospitality, quiet and peaceful place. Very nice pool area and delicious marrocan breakfast, wonderful Snacks available. The staff is very obliging and friendly, we intantly made friends with Youssef. Thanks for having us!

Beautiful oriental oasis to explore Marrakech

What a wonderful hotel and 2 restaurants! ( the other location is in the Ville Nouvelle … downtown Marrakech)

Hello. 

This was our first time to Marokko.  
We stayed for 1 week in this lovely hotel. 
It was an unforgettable experience.
The staff was  so nice and helpful and friendly.they are all great. 
we felt as there family.
the room was lovely, number 8, the mattresses where just perfect. 
The room was big enough. 
We booked a room with breakfast, you can eat inside or outside. 
there is also a heated pool. and everything is very well maintained 
the breakfast was really good with fresh products and Moroccan dishes.  
there is also a restaurant at the hotel, they serve the best Moroccan food. 
if we ever go back to Marrakesh we definitely go back to this lovely hotel.

Great lovely relaxing stay with the best and friendliest staff.

This is an outstanding restaurant run by an amazing group of ladies. Highly recommend a visit! Food is delicious and service is exceptional . The wines were also extremely good. Setting is beautiful and we ate in the garden a very special last night in Marrakesh ! Would definitely return if we visit Marrakesh again!

A gem in Marrakesh!

A truly wonderful experience from booking to departure, we were made to feel as though we were staying with friends. Communications were amazing; reservations, transfers and restaurant choices were  all booked in advance. The riad, the grounds and pool are all beautiful, the staff were discreet, genuinely friendly and often anticipated our needs without being asked. The rooms were large and comfortable and so quiet. A touch chilly by evening but it was February, and the loveliest bathroom of all our stays.
We didn’t stay long enough . The riad location is a 10 mins drive from the medina and attractions, it’s  a tranquil oasis out of the hustle and bustle to experience Moroccan hospitality at its best.
We’d a lovely breakfast served in the lounge with log fire and we had a lovely evening dining in the renowned Al Fassia restaurant  and the staff singing “ happy birthday” will be a lasting memory.
We can’t wait to comeback for a longer stay, it’ll be our go to when we’re coming to Marrakech. Thank you to everyone who looked after us to well.

Amazing Al Fassia

Visited this restaurant after it being highly recommended in a BBC series last year - and it fully lived up to it's billing.
From the beautiful entrance through the garden, to the traditional interior, to the amazing authentic food and truly amazing staff and service the whole experience was top class.
I can't recommend it highly enough.

HIGHLT RECOMMEND

I recently stayed at Al Fassia and would highly recommend anyone staying in Marrakech to consider this wonderful hotel. Myra the co owner and her staff made my stay so special. They are attentive, friendly and can’t do enough for you. I stayed as part of a larger group and the whole process from the initial booking to checkout was a joy. The hotel is a traditional styled riad with an attached restaurant which I also highly recommend. I made a wise decision to eat there on two evenings and the cookery is first class. The city is a short and low cost taxi journey away, Go ahead and book, you won’t be disappointed !

The wonderful Al Fassia 

We stayed here in advance of a business trip to be hosted at this family run hotel. I couldn’t praise it enough. 

Run by the charismatic Myra, we were incredibly well looked after by all the wonderful staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. 

They epitomised the best of Morrocan graciousness and service. Fab room and a lovely big bathroom, and some cool courtyards and internal spaces to sit and relax. We are it the restaurant one night, which has an all female chef team. The shoulder of lamb was exquisite, and it had a mix of clientele from families to local celebrities.

It is situated a short cab ride away from the Medina, so be prepared to taxi a taxi in and out (daytime around £5) unless you don’t mind the walk … around 40 mins, taxis were plentiful and very polite,

I would go back in a heartbeat.
