It needs a little maintenance, the mattresses have to be changed and the receptionists are unkind, improving their treatment of the guests. Nos les tomberait mal un cours du traitement gentil envers les touristes. L'emplacement est excellent, la piscine est merveilleuse, elle donnerait 5 stars if its receptionistes were more kind and smiling.

We arrived at the port at 2 am in the early morning to leave the day after an event at 7 am and even knowing in advance that there was no tourism and that all hotels on the coast would remove their blankets from 450 to 500 pesos per room, but this turned out to be a trap for a rat, the employee told us that instead of the 450 that advertised would cost us 550, we paid in advance and went to dinner with someone who died from the terrible accidents on the road to arrive, and after dinner we returned to the hotel and he indicated that he would not give us the side view as we were those of 1900 pesos, telling us that if for an extra cost, no exaggeration would give us a side view for even that view, we would wait to leave the hotel in 3 hours, but then we would have to ask ourselves if we could return to the hotel for a few hours, and if we could get a better view of the weather, then we would be able to return to the hotel for a few hours, but if we did not, we would be able to get a better view of the weather and the tourists would say that if we could get a better view of the

Worst hotel ever in veracruz avoid it as fast as you can.

Acojedor. A relatively small hotel but with great attention; it offers a beautiful view of the bay and across the street is the beach! It is located very close to the aquarium and beach Villa del Mar to get around on foot and a few minutes' drive from the historic center and the docks.

It's a good hotel.

It is clean and pleasant, the attention of the staff is good; but there are areas to improve. The mattresses are too soft. The shower has no door and the bathroom ends up all wet. The towels are already very worn out. There are no bathrooms near the pool to remove the chlorine, so you have to climb the wet stairs.

A good option

The hotel is in a tourist area... halfway between the traditional (el veracruz del malecon, palace of government) and the modern (zona de boca del río..el world trade center..fashion shopping centers...it's worth a visit...+

Important!  This review is really only valid if you are coming to Veracruz for the quite insane Carnaval week!  The Malecon area is a totally different place the rest of the year and I cannot speak to that.
This hotel gets its points because it may have the best parade-viewing private balconies on the entire parade route.  They are big enough for a table and four chairs and the view is perfect.
That recommendation holds true only for the rooms across the front of the hotel, 301-309 and 401-409.  Other rooms go down the sides of the building and the balconies are tiny.
Beds were good, shower fine, towels very thin.  Soundproofing excellent, but don't expect ANYTHING to keep out the noise of Carnaval!  You came for that experience; don't shortchange it by wasting time sleeping. 


CARNAVAL best choice

The hotel is under construction!! (and the adjoining building site.  )) MUCHO RUIDO Noise from 8.30am to 7.30pm. Aslo noise between 11pm to 4am from the night club. VERY LOUD. Terrible place.

El hotel Real del Mar Veracruz is a modest accommodation, currently undergoing renovation, but excellently ubiquitous, with a pool and a very affordable price.It offers cleanliness and tranquility without great pretensions.The staff is attentive and efficient.

Clean and well-located.

Although I left a long time ago and I'm sure now everything is settled... in the first room I arrived, the air conditioning was dripping and in the second (which was the one I was changed to), it smelled a little bad so I asked to be changed to a third where everything was great and a treat of the best.

A good hotel with a few exceptions.

The perfect place to spend the nights and get up with a good swimming pool... the beach crossing the road or be super close, the hotel people are super friendly and at very good prices I stay there every time I go to Veracruz.
