It's a quiet place with a good atmosphere, the food is very rich, the prices are very reasonable, the music they play is pleasant, clean, eco-friendly, with plenty of nature inside.

Calm and discreet.

This is a hostel that has a really calm vibe to it. There are enough bathrooms shared with shower, the warm water does not last long due to the hostel is eco friendly so it warms up with the sunlight, hence could be a bit cold sometimes but nothing bad. The breakfast is included and it’s delicious I was so surprised for this since normally included breakfast are smaller. The attention was amazing and the towels are for free. 
In the space we stayed the stairs were a bit complicated to climb but there are other rooms downstairs. It gets a bit cold at night but with the option of asking for blankets. 
It is a hostel so always keep that in mind! But for the price and the service I was really pleased with! 

Really good hostel for a good price. 

Really cheap and great accommodation. It’s really quiet, the breakfast is small but delicious. The rooms are spacious, clean and the bed was comfortable. The host Romeo will help you a lot to find anything you need to know or how to get somewhere. We stayed 2 nights and we loved it. Many terraces which make you feel you are alone in the place!

Just great!

The place is charming and we were very welcomed but when we arrived in our rooms we found ourselves in a room with overlapping beds while we had reserved a double room. A cockroach family in the closet, mosquitoes that never end up without a mosquito net and a bathroom in very bad condition! No restaurant, and hard to find anything open on a Sunday night! Otherwise very good little dej! The price was still very low....

Warm reception but unsanitary room

If you are looking for a place with a relaxed atmosphere without haste and excellent hospitality in this place, staying here is like going to stay at your good-natured uncles' house, the treatment is first-rate and the people who care for you will do their best to make you feel at home. the location is good, the services too, the rooms are in poor condition but you can't ask for more at that price, it's more doubtful that you can find a place with better service and facilities at these prices. special congratulations to Katia and Romeo who gave us all the necessary information to make a successful trip around the state always attentive and with enthusiasm and love for the region that is frankly contagious.

Hostal de Primera.

The quality-price ratio is fine, this is a half-hour walk from the stadium and a few minutes from the main squares, it will not be a hostel that you say ¡Qué bruto! ¡Qué lujos! but it has the essentials and not the cost, I like that even the tool and material area (where I thank you for allowing me to paint my blanket) combines with the rest of the areas, this hostel proved to me that it is not necessary to go to San Cristobal for a good backpack accommodation.

Bonito and Barato are good.

This is a wonderful Hostel in the midst of a non-touristy area. Close to a good Mexican mercado.  The owner Roberto really knows his history, very entertaining and helpful. Best Coffee I have had in mexico yet ! two espresso machines and in the morning it is free! Breakfast is fruit and bread,.. if you want eggs etc, they will cook for you, 30+ pesos,.. not bad either. 
Some rooms are three stories high, in the rain it is vey cozy. aqnd in the evening traditional Mexican or Cuban singers entertain until 10PM, some nights later. 
Roberto will bargain for a weekly rate too if you like the town.

Perspective

We stayed two nights in a private room with shared bathroom.The amenities of the hostel are nice, clean, and the room that touched us was very nice.We paid $120 per person.You were served breakfast with coffee and crepes, served very well, and everyone (it is served by a family with several employees) was very kind, attentive and generous.In the same hotel they offer you the Tour al Cañón (more affordable than what the agencies offer).We hung out with them and enjoyed it a lot!There is also a bar, which on the one hand is nice because we can have something not very nice in the hostel, but if you don't like live music proposals, you may not enjoy it as much (it sounds like listening to electricity).As we can say, you have a place that you don't want to stay since 5am; there are several tourist stations that are running from the city to the city, and I recommend that you don't go to the bathroom (even if you don't like the sound of the sound of the water, you don't really need to take a bath).

A good hostel is a good one.

I spent a week in the Casa del Jardín and it was a very pleasant experience, the atmosphere is very relaxed and the staff is super friendly and attentive, they have a cafeteria that at night accompanies them with live music, which gives them another perspective on the place and makes it more dynamic; in the mornings the delicious coffee accompanied by crepes prepared by the staff and the chats in the breakfast area make a good way to start the day;... do you know that Romeo, the owner of the place, a super accessible gentleman who will give you anything about what to do in Tuxtla and its surroundings, or simply establish a good conversation. The place is very centralised which makes it easy for Jose Jacilia to move to any part of the town, other towns by its convenience!!! Do I know that the place is a place of freshly prepared bathrooms, where even the staff of the hotel, including the bathrooms and the surrounding gardens, do I love to make sure that I am able to make sure that I am able to do the best I can do for myself.

El hostel de Tuxtla is recommended.

We arrived early in the morning and were very kindly received even though we had no reservations.The prices are super affordable and they supported us in all the doubts we had for our trip to Chiapas!!!!
