As soon as I leaked, I saw that the room was covered in dirt/dust, and I notified the staff and told me that the cleaning person had already left, but that he could give me chlorine to clean it up. I NEEDED to clean my own bathroom. In addition, the floor of the whole room was filled with hair and even garbage (wrappers of gum, wet toilet paper).

Incredibly sweet.

I spent 3 nights here on a solo trip. My room was on the second level, and had no window to the outside, only to the interior stairway. In fact, all 3 rooms they showed me only had interior-facing windows, although the hotel does have rooms with balconies.

My room was small, but fine for one person; it might be a little tight for 2 people. The bed was comfortably firm. There were outlets by the headboard and elsewhere in the room. The WiFi worked well, and never dropped the connection. They provided two bottles of water each day. There is also filtered water in the lobby. 

The bathroom is small, with shower only. Toiletries are provided. Water was hot, although one morning it switched to lukewarm during my shower.  The water pressure was good. The lighting in the bathroom is dim, but better in the bedroom. There is a full-length mirror in the room. 

The hotel has a lovely rooftop terrace.  Unfortunately, the dining area is closed off, and breakfast is not currently being offered at the hotel. 

The location is only about a 5-minute walk from the town square. There is also a small convenience store around the corner from the hotel. 

When I first arrived at the hotel I was a little leery because it's at the bottom of a hill, and the entryway is small and dark. However, once I  selected my room and checked out the rooftop, I felt better about staying there.

Overall, it was a good value for the money. I would stay there again.

Small local hotel in good location

Great location, bed was good for me, bathroom was full of mold.

The place is very good, close to the main square, it is economical, it has many places to eat at hand and also great restaurants, it is close to one of the main streets of San Miguel, the receptionist Luis nos atendio very well, it is very recommended the place.

This is a good thing.

Hotel location is perfect. There is no AC, in this region it’s usually not needed. There is a fan in the room. My toilet had trouble filling, it was minor so I fixed myself. Bed was not soft, but not the worse. Overall it was a good stay for the price.

Pleasant stay, great location.

I loved the Mexican-style décor, the simple but pleasant bathrooms, a very pleasant terrace, a large bed and a spacious room, we stayed only one night and would have liked to have stayed more days as it is a magical place, the breakfast we enjoyed the eggs with different options and the coffee to be in their Mexican tacitas very beautiful.

SAN Miguel de Allende is the name of the city.

We enjoyed the rooftop area for sitting and relaxing.  If one had mobility issues this property could be a problem....steep stairs to climb.  Fairly close to the Center...again  would be a problem if walking is a problem.  Room and breakfast were very adequate.

Helpful staff. Great location. Lovely decor, clean room and comfortable beds. Wonderful view from the rooftop patio, where they serve breakfast. Only drawback was the steet noise, as our room was facing the main street.
