We woke up on a Sunday morning at 8:00 am with music from the dining room at full volume. There was no hot water in the sink. The manager's response to both was poor. The location is not the best, and the facilities are old and poorly maintained. The curtains are lit in the morning. It is a bad adaptation of a house to a hotel. Nothing recommended for such poor customer care.

Pesimo service is a very popular service.

San Miguel de Allende, a world heritage site, with its cobblestone streets, narrow streets with an architecture that is the privilege of this city, get lost in them without hurry and observe the charm of its people, its sales outlets, sit in a restaurant and taste its gastronomy... beautiful!!! The hotel is very good, familiar with an excellent breakfast, I will be back.

San Miguel de Allende is located in the city of Allende.

So many places to chose from in this town.  We were pleased with the location, the first floor room, the included breakfast, the price, and the staff.  The staff has limited English but very friendly and helpful. The chilequiles with eggs at breakfast were a daily morning highlight. Breakfast between 9-11 was a little strange and inconvenient at times. When we were too tired or far from hotel to walk we used Uber. 

1st time to SMA and not disappointed 

We had a two bedroom suite which was perfect for us.  It had a fridge, a coffee maker and a sitting area.  Perfect for after a day of sightseeing before a night of eating.  Good location, close enough to get to the jardin easily.  The breakfast that is included is just fruit and bread, but enough for women.  Would stay here again.

Great suite for a friends trip

Nice hotel, but with some flaws: The parking lot is not in the hotel; they take the car to keep. If you need it at night, fall in love. On the day we left the hotel, it took half an hour for it to be a young man and he took us walking to where the car was. 🏻 ♂️ The hotel needs maintenance, as the bathroom doors ring, and at night it's annoying to hear them. There are two areas for the bathroom: one has the sink and a large sink (well, as if it were part of the plate, from an old kitchen).

House of canned goods.

It is located about 200 meters from downtown San Miguel, it has its own restaurant and they make their own preserves, mainly jams and sauces, which are very tasty.The staff is super friendly from the roommates to the chef, going through the night shift.Our room was very comfortable, we left with our three Yorkshire dogs and we were all very well set up and did not cause any inconvenience to the other guests as the rooms are well spaced one from the other.

Hotel Pet Friendly

We were 4 friends and we were delighted with the room they gave us.Since we arrived with excellent service with a complimentary drink.The breakfast is rich.It is not as central as I expected, but in 15 minutes you can walk to the center.

Good service, spacious and clean room.

We stayed here while visiting San Miguel de Allende for the first time.  This B&B is located a few blocks downhill from the main square area of where the plaza and church are but not too far.  The room we stayed in was nice and well decorated.  The bathtub in the room gave us some problem with draining properly.  Breakfast was really delicious - it was made to order.  My mom and I picked chilaquiles with a fried egg on top.  Yogurt, fruit, coffee, juice and bread with jam was also included.  Very filling and tasty.  Overall, a pleasant stay and San Miguel de Allende is a really cute little town.  Loved it!

Enjoyed....

The hotel doesn't seem to be the best at first, but just talking to the receptionist will make you feel at home, it's very clean and overall the whole experience was extremely enjoyable.

The best hotel for this wonderful place.

We booked this hotel 10 days in advance and received mail at 8 am on the day of entry and at 10 am another cancelling me because I was over-sold and sent to another inferior hotel, i reused and found the same day one of the best and most central, Hotel Petra highly recommended.
