A traditional sort of a place serving hearty, well-priced meals to travellers and offering a few rooms as well. They found space for our bicycles in an outbuilding. The room was quite hotel-like, ie a step up from most guesthouses, but it lacked a mirror and a wardrobe or chest of drawers, there was just a coat rack on the wall. The curtains were pale and flimsy so didn't block the light at all. There were no hooks or shelves in the bathroom and, while the shower cubicle was large, it had an ordinary radiator in it which was a bit strange. Breakfast was OK, nothing special. All in all, this is good value for money and fine for a stay of a night or two. But please, proprietors, put a few hooks up in the bathroom and provide a chest of drawers or a wardrobe so guests don't have to live out of a suitcase.
