We had a great experience at Hotel Okura Tokyo Bay from check-in to checkout. The hotel wasn’t crowded, the staff was incredibly friendly, and while English was very limited, we had no issues navigating with basic Japanese phrases and a little patience. We’re a family of three traveling with our 14-year-old son and stayed for 6 nights. The room was spacious and easily fit three separate beds, which was a big plus. There was a mini fridge, and housekeeping did a fantastic job keeping everything spotless — our room was always made up when we returned at the end of the day. The hotel is definitely older and the carpet showed its age, but everything was clean and well-maintained. The location was ideal — right across from the Disney Resort Line Bayside Station and close to Maihama Station, which gave us quick access to the rest of Tokyo. Even though it’s a little outside the city center, don’t let that stop you. We were able to get anywhere in Tokyo within 45 minutes using the metro, which is very easy to figure out. This was a great home base for our two days at Disney and exploring the city beyond. It’s more affordable than many Tokyo hotels, and for a family that would rather spend money on experiences than luxury rooms, this was a perfect fit. Highly recommend!
