Brilliant place !! We pitched up around 17:30 (3 of us) and were welcomed and checked in with efficiency with a room 15 right at the top. We'd been Alta Via 1 hiking all day from Lagazuoi so the availability of the sauna & hot steam room was SUPERB. The meal was beautifully presented (best lasagne I ever tasted) and a bottle of valpolicella ripasso was nailed sharpish - marvellous ! Cracking brekkie before the ohhhh-err hike around Mount Pelmo. Best of the refugios that we stayed at (although the Fodaro Vedla is a close second).
