162 reviewsMy Wife and I stayed here for 3 nights early this month. The rooms are spacious and typically Venetian. We booked a junior suit which is located on the second floor, I believe there are four suits on this level that all share a communal sitting room and balcony. The balcony looks out across the square and there is a canal directly underneath it. If you booked this room with a private balcony with a similar view in Saint Marco you would pay ten times the price, so I think this is a very acceptable compromise. Now for the best bit........the staff are amazing. It was my wife’s birthday whilst we stayed in Venice, they noticed this from my wife’s passport details and on the day of her birthday Maria, the breakfast waitresses, organised a table on the balcony and a small birthday cake for her. The staff did this all off there own back! It was such a lovely gesture. The only small thing I think needs addressing, are the pillows in the bed are a tad worn out and very flat, apart from this, this has to be one of the best hotels in Venice. We will definitely be coming back.
