La Posada BedBreakfast

We booked directly with La Posada by sending an inquiry on their contact form on their website. I recommend sending an inquiry even if their website says they don't have rooms available- that's what we did when we were looking kind of at the last minute for a place to stay in Stintino in August. The property is immaculately clean. The hosts are so kind. We needed to borrow umbrellas and sand mats for La Pelosa and they were happy to lend some to us. Even on the day we checked out and wanted to spend a couple more hours on the beach before heading to our next destination, they lent us the umbrella and sand mats and we dropped them off on our way out of town. We even considered cancelling the rest of our plans in Sardegna and spending all of our time there. It was truly a relaxing stay. The pool is also a great addition to the property. In past reviews I had read that in general guests were older but we did not find that to be true. Young couples and families were also staying at the property (maybe because we were there in August) which gave it a lovely familial vibe. There was no air conditioning in the rooms but there were fans and since we stayed in a basement level there was no problem for us with heat. The property is about a 45 minute walk from La Pelosa. If you have a car, ask the host for free parking advice. The walk to town is about a 15 minute walk which is very convenient for going to dinner. Wifi is only by the pool but seeing as that we were only in our room to sleep there was no problem with that. Breakfast was delicious and our host was so kind to give us his attention to all questions we had. Overall we absolutely loved our stay and it is an excellent value. When we return to Stintino, this will be our top choice to stay.
