Ali and Sarrah give you the warmest welcome at the Gili Hideaway, making you feel instantly at home! Tucked away from the main action, it’s peaceful and quiet but also just a 2 minute walk to the beach and bars besides. The pool is very nice and clean and the breakfasts were great, particularly the banana pancakes and coffee!  Every morning Ali made us an amazing breakfast complete with hand crafted models of a dolphin, sea turtle and even a tennis playing kangaroo to go with our breakfast! Truly the most welcoming hosts and such good value! Thank you Ali for a wonderful stay! :)

Wonderful stay with the warmest welcome!

The property is amazing with carefully tented to plants, a nice pool, nice apartments. The breakfast was very tasty. The only thing I didn't like to much is that the shower had no warm water.

Small Paradise

The staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great with several options. There’s a cute little cat called Yasfi that was always hanging out with me at breakfast, by the pool or at my bungalow. The bungalow was nice and clean and I liked the garden with lots of plants and flowers. Pool was clean. They gave me tea or coffee when I wanted it. Also refilled my water bottle which avoided having to buy unnecessary plastic bottles, which is fantastic! It’s away from the busy streets in a quiet part but not far from a great spot to watch the sunrise every morning at the beach. I hired a bike so it’s easy to get around everywhere. I loved it and hope to return.

Great place!!!!! The rooms are beautiful with awesome bathrooms!! We stay here for 4 nights and I think we couldn’t choose a better option, Alip is a great man and he does delicious breakfast, always asking if you need something and welling to help you!
And have a great pool perfect after a day on the beach!

We stayed 5 nights at Hideaway and could not have asked for a better place. Eddy and Alip are very friendly and always asked if we wanted coffee or tea. The breakfast they served us was also top class (especially the French toast!) and the fruit carvings Alip made were amazing. The location was great; close to activities and no disturbing sound reached the bungalows. We truly recommend staying at Hideaway! /Max, Carl and Josefin

Stay at Hideaway if going to Gili T

We spent a week in this place. We loved everything. The whole Gili hideaway is beautifully hidden between trees, bushes, palms and flowers. To the beach it takes about five minutes. The banana pancakes with cinnamon and sugar were our absolute highlight next to the cool open-air bathroom. The two boys who took care of the Gili hideaway during our stay were both super friendly. Rooms were cleaned beautifully so that it wouldn't get too sticky at night. We even had three fans installed in our room. We would love to come back here. Anyone who liked to have a little autistic is right here.

It's super friendly.

It's a very nice place, very quiet and close to the beach. Very, very nice people. Great breakfast and an exceptional shower. Since the bathroom is outside, of course, there are some insects but otherwise everything is Indonesian clean. A small disadvantage: no air conditioning. But enough fans for that. We felt very comfortable.

An Oasis of Well-being

Gili Hideaway's motto is "Come as guests, leave as family" and this could not be more true of our experience. Eddie, Alif, Ennie and Layla offer genuine, warm and welcoming service. No request is too hard and they go over and above to ensure you enjoy your stay. Eddie's English is perfect and his five star hospitality experience shows. Everywhere we went in Indonesia afterwards, we were comparing our experience to Eddie's service "Eddie would notice that. Eddie would do this or that for us." No one else has come close to his proficiency. We were farewelled with carved serving spoons created by the talented Alif who also presented us with fruit carvings each morning. We were genuinely sad to leave.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 6 nights. We couldn't have been made to feel more welcome by Eddie and his team. The whole place has a family feel about it which is testament to the lovely Duwe (forgive the spelling) and her husband who own the hideaway. Tucked away, parallel to the main street you are close to all restaurants and bars, yet far enough not to be disturbed by the noise. The rooms can be a little warm without air con but if you leave the mosquito net open and bring the fan closer to the bed this isn't an issue! Couldn't recommend this place highly enough! Kieran and Chelsea (I'll be back for my connect 4 rematch soon!) 

A hideaway is exactly what it is!

Me and my husband stayed here for 4 nights. Ideal location, close enough to the beach and restaurants but far enough away from loud bars. The bungalow was very traditional with a thatched roof and an outside bathroom. Be prepared for power cuts-something the whole island suffer from. The breakfast was a choice of options but I highly recommend the banana pancakes. Gili T itself is an amazing place to stay-definitely recommend hiring bikes, playing crazy golf, snorkelling and visiting Gili Meno. Would stay here again.
