Hello travelers, explorers and vagabonds Jaswant bhawan is a jewel of the blue city. Beautifully located and carved, this jewel offers you a variety of rooms and a beautiful view of the fort from two different rooftops with blue houses in the front. one should stay here once in his life. Mr. OM is the soul of this place and no doubt a great chef. He cooks a variety of homemade dishes, from local Jodhpuri, Rajasthan, pizzas and traditional Indian and Italian pasta and the list is long. He serves frozen cocktails (mineral water) and cappuccino, Americano, etc. We stayed here during our journey to Rajasthan and during our journey to Jaipur, and we have been celebrating and celebrating a true 8 days of Jaswant that is filled with hearty hospitality.

Nickelled feet

Beautiful house.  Excellent location on a quiet area, for India.  Our room was lovely although had no windows except for a tiny one.  Amazing view of the fort from the restaurant and the food was very decent.  The owner didn’t seem very welcoming.  As soon as we arrived he just said “show me your passports!”  The boy working there took some money from our room but we fixed the issue with the owner with no problems.

Such a lovely and calm place nicely decorated located near the mehrangarh fort.
Food served their is authentic rajasthani food and its very delicious cooked by mr.Om owner of the place. Definitely will visit it once more and as soon as possible

The great old blue haveli in the old city

After almost two weeks of Rajasthan, this was hands down the best stay we had. Truly wish we had the ability to extend for atleast a day or two just for some downtime in our travels. We searched for a while for accommodation before heading to Jodhpur and couldn't decide were to stay, if this is you then stop your search now. Just book it. You will be in the heart of the blue city which is unique on its own but the magic is the homestay itself. It really allows you to get a feel for what life was like living here for hundreds of years. The place was clean and well maintained. The owner and his son took care of us. Cannot comment on the other rooms but the top floor room is the queen bedroom that we stayed in and it was really spacious. The bed itself was the softest this far in India hands down. The only downside of the top floor room is that the wifi doesn't quite reach that far. I had to sit outside the room for connection, but still this place beats any other we have stayed at so it wasn't a big deal to me at the end of the day. 

As I said, I wish we had the timing to allow for an extra "chill" day here.

Tip: keep the homestay business card on you Incase your phone dies while walking back through the city to prevent yourself from walking around in circles for an hour or so. Not saying this happened, but yes, this happened. Cheers.

I had very good time in jaswant bhawan home stay !

Room are beautiful,totally clean and comfortable.
The roof top restaurant is really good place for chill out and food is really delicious there. 

The owner,om, really friendly and all staff are also kinds and attentive.

Excellent place !

Beautiful haveli, well located in a quiet area. There is a terrace with a perfect view on the fort, where you can eat great and cheap food. The room was clean, really spacious, with a wifi connection. Special mention to Ajay, one of the staff of the haveli, who made our stay really special by sharing with us about the Bishnoi culture!

Our best accomodation in our Rajasthan circuit!

Although the hotel is in good condition at the foot of the fort, the access alley looked like a garbage dump. The room would have been acceptable but the sanitary dirt has not gone. No restaurant due to lack of staff. We shortened our stay to go to the hotel across the street (Rani Mahal). A little more expensive but so much higher with a very good restaurant on the terrace.

I'm very disappointed. Cross the street, it's better!!

Small quiet blue house in an alley in the old town. We had the upstairs bedroom with two rooms including one overlooking a private terrace with access to our bathroom and a beautiful view of the fort. Very discreet but very attentive home. Nice terrace roof also overlooking the fort. Our room is our favorite place to stay and a super quality price ratio. Blandine and Karine

I came here without any info. Just find it while I was walking on the street. This restaurent/cafe has a great rooftop to see the fort. Lassi is delicous :)

아무런 정보없이 이 카페에 왔어요. 길을 걷다가 찾은 곳이에요. 이 카페엔 생각보다 훨씬 괜찮은 루푸탑이 있어요. 성벽이 아주 잘 보여요. 라씨도 맛있었어요.

Great rooftop restaurent!

My girlfriend and I spent one night in Jodhpur on our Rajasthan tour and we stayed here. The hostel was really nice with its small courtyard, the steep stairs and various levels and our room at the top with a roof terrace that gives you a great view. It was clean, cozy and the hosts were very friendly and helpful.
