Stayed at this property on 18th May 2022, during our vacation in LEH,  Nice and decent place which is well kept.  Looks like the garden is still in the nascent phase of development.  The rooms were clean and the linen was well maintained.  The wash rooms were surprisingly good and very well maintained.  The only room with a balcony at this property  was offered to us though it does have some views of the snow capped mountain I cannot say that it has the best views. The walkways were very wide and spacious and were well insulated.  The restaurant was well maintained, it was large and neat.  The restaurant has a traditional sitting place for those who want to enjoy the local tradition.  The spread was not luxurious but was tasty,  clean and wholesome.  I was scared when I read the negative reviews about this place but I think for the place where they are catering and with the limited resources here,  they are doing a good job was what I felt.  Looks like Nubra was short of people to handle the tourist load this year.  In spite of shortage of people the staff were going all out to satisfy their customers.  Free wifi was provided for all the customers with decent speeds.  The overall experience at this place was good and thankful to Mr Raj and his team to make it a comfortable stay for us.

Decent Place in Nubra

First I thought it will be very cold sleeping in a tent in Nubra Valley. But evidently it was quite warm and comfortable.The service is very good. They are very helpful and nice. I bet you will get unforgettable experince staying there.

Very nice camp in Nubra

We are 12persons on group have stayed at Double humped camp one night,the tent so clean,comfortable for sleeping also bathroom so clean,and the owner so nice person,camp service is excellent,breakfast & dinner are yummy,we love stay here

When I arrived to this camp, i felt so excited.
The view souronding the camp is really beautiful and romantic.
The tent is clean and warm, even there is no heater inside. The bathroom is also inside the tent and has a hot water. Altough the climate is so cool, but I still could take a bath and wash my hair with hot water.
Fortunately I met the owner and he is a very kind person, I ordered plain rice and french fries but he gave me free.

nice place and has a beautiful view

Visited in the month of May 2019. We were thinking it gonna be hell cold in camp but surprisingly it was very cozy n comfortable with attached washroom. Bone fire under million of starts was so beautiful. Thankyou Mr. Jimmy for such a lovely experience. We appreciate your hospitality, efforts to make us comfortable and sharing lots of info about Leh Ladakh. Highly recommended....

Comfortable and beautiful place

it is situated in Nubra valley, in mid of mountains We visited this place in may 2019 , In the start you will find a big wish spinning wheel , and a narrow water flowing ( glacier water ) Best place to be every thing was available for visitors, the owner Jimmy sir was very helpful, All the best and good luck to jimmy sir, sharing his stories , proving information about leh ladakh culture , trekking. must stay : highly recommended. Once you enter the camp, you are welcomed with cactus plants!!!Out of the 12 odd tents, only 2 were habitable. In rest of the tents, there were some problem or the other. Ex- No running water, dirty toilets, tents were torn at few places (that too in the toilet).The staff was courteous but even they were helpless as the owner of the tents was least bothered(this is what the manager told us).Plus it is too far from the desert area where all the action is..

Don't book this camp.

The campground is about a ten minute drive from the dunes area. It has new tents, with comfortable beds and mattresses and clean lungs. There is a socket available inside the tent that can be used to charge cell phones or cameras, electricity is supplied from 19.30 pm. The inside of the tent is clean and two safes are provided. The bathrooms have toilets with drainage and external sinks. The local shower is spacious and functional. The owner is very kind, if you need anything and tend everything to please you. You can have hot water for the tent on request.
