I visited Dalhousie to get some relief from hot summer.I chose Modi Inn after checking reviews online.I booked two deluxe rooms for 3days but to my surprise  they upgraded my rooms to super deluxe rooms.They used to offer candies to my kids everytime we went to sightseeing or returning from there,my kids loved those candies.The rooms & linen were neat & clean.Water heater was working wonders.The average temperature was 18°c,very pleaseant.The location was prime,at a walking distance to market.Their food was very tasty & homelike with minimum spices.Overall the stay was pleasant & all of us liked the hotel,staff & services.

Great hospitality with courteous & helpful staff

This is situated on the mall road.. which is main road of city but the hotel is not that great the way it look like.  We had booked a stay but unfortunately have to go to another hotel due to the condition of rooms and other services.

Never experienced such a poor hotel, old property, dirty walls, spoiled towels, damaged furnitures, door, windows, even taps don't work well, no intercom, no Wi-Fi, no own car parking, but staffs were very polite and cooperative. booked for 2 days with advance payment, so got trapped. Absolutely Rubbish Hotel.

Very pathetic condition of rooms. No cleanliness. Horrible Staff. Paid 100% in advance still no facility for the Guest. No intercom facility before between 9 pm to 7 am that means NO ROOM SERVICE. Kitchen and dining place is in very unhygienic condition. No Help in parking. Bed, Bathroom, Floor, Chairs in is a very bad condition. General Manager "Mr. Maheshwari" is a very rude person. How can we expect such a loud person in the Hospitality Industry? He is least bother about the guest.  I was shocked and stunned when I saw that he was ill-treating every guest by speaking in a very harsh manner. He has his own rules. We were feeling helpless as I was feeling cheated as we had booked online. If we would have physically verified, I am sure NO ONE WILL STAY IN THIS HOTEL. We will never refer this hotel to anyone.

Pathetic Condition of Hotel

I stayed here for 2 days and it was the pathetic experience.
Firstly, the rooms were not clean,geysers were not workin,no fridge and kettle available,tissues were not available and even after a lot of complaints they didn’t take any action.
Secondly, we had breakfast. There was no option in the menu.They just served aloo parantha.We asked them to serve us either maggi or rice/poha, they just refused to give.Even the food was not good and service was very poor.
I will never recommend anyone to stay in this hotel.

Its the worst hotel ever I have ever visited.

Booked 2 rooms for 2 couples. Room No:106 & 107. Room had rats and rat holes. Walls were wet and very bad smell in the room. When we remove the blanket all of sudden a big rat jumped out of it. The receptionist was very rude. He knew about the rats but he was not excepting it. It was like a nightmare in my life.
