Stayed here Jan 2020 with my boyfriend. We were travelling on a budget but this accommodation surpassed our expectations. Rooms were cosy and clean with plenty of storage space and the beds incredibly comfortable. We shared a bathroom but did not find this to be a problem at all. The bathroom was shared between just 3 rooms and during our stay it felt as though we had sole use of it! It was always immaculately clean. The guesthouse is ideally located close to the church and there is plenty of free on-street parking in the immediate area. Exceptional value for money! Staff were lovely . Would recommend to friends and family

Exceptional value for money stay in Reykjavik

My son and I shared a room at this guesthouse on our visit to Iceland, and it was entirely what we hoped for. Comfortable, central location, attentive owner. We were perhaps lucky that the guesthouse wasn't full, so there was little noise, and we didn't really see anyone, although we knew there were other guests in the buildings. Price was good too. No fuss. Perfect.

Exactly what it says on the tin!

Great location, great place to stay.
Although we had a shared bathroom it was pretty much our private bathroom as there were only two rooms on our floor. 
Tidy and clean. Very nice host. 
Great communication.
Would recommend.

Great stay

Friend and I stayed here at the end of November. 
The Guesthouse is adorable!
The kitchen facilities are more than adequate, bathroom small but does all it needs to.
Room (2nd floor) was quiet and warm and everything clean.
Pre-arrival communication was great.
Location near Hallgrimskirkja was excellent, near nice cafes and a straight run down to town centre.

Only negative is that, as with many guesthouses, staff weren't on site much, and not clear when they were going to be.
Signs up saying breakfast served from 7:30am but noone to be seen!
This made paying at the end a bit trickier than I would have liked but they were very understanding and resolved quickly.

I would definitely stay here again.

Cute guesthouse, recommend!

This is a cute and nice place, in the very center of Reykjavik. Nice clean and small rooms, and shared (and clean) bathroom and kitchen facilities. Staff was so nice and friendly, and I felt very welcome and at home here. 
Only thing is that you could hear the road outside and the other people walking around, but else everything was perfect

Very cozy stay

This was a great little spot after a long day of traveling. The host was very friendly and everything was clean and pleasant. Nice little breakfast. As bathrooms are shared it was nice that there were two bathrooms available.

Great stay!

we stayed there 3 nights and loved it. It‘s a small guesthouse with cute little rooms. There‘s a bathroom with toilet/shower on each floor. The rooms are very clean.
The staff is very friendly and helpful and it feels like a family. The breakfast is not huge, but it has everything’s you need. :-)
The location is perfect, very close to the centre but still quiet.

very cute little Guesthouse

We stayed here our first night in Iceland and are excited to return for our last. Our room was very cozy and warm. We were a little far from the bathroom, which was a floor below, but that was not a huge inconvenience. There are two bathrooms which is nice so that if someone is showering, there is not a backed-up line for the toilet. Breakfast had a nice selection. Good for the value!!!

Cozy!!

This location is so convenient to everything.  The hostess was very friendly and welcoming. She walked me to my room which was in the next building. Everything was just perfect. There were multiple outlets in the room. The location was fantastic if you are able to walk. I covered also Old Town Reykjavik in one day with even time to eat and shop.

You could hear every noise from the main street but the property was diligent in providing ear plugs. But if you had been out all day, and you’re tired, the noise should not be a problem. If you have weak knees like me, the stairs may pose a problem,but it’s only about 7 steps one way.

"A very friendly and welcoming host"

We stayed in this guest house for two nights after arriving in Iceland and one night at the end of our stay.The guests are really very welcoming and warm. We quickly feel comfortable in this pleasant guest house located two steps from the city center.The rooms are not very large but that is enough, they are decorated with taste.They are very clean, as well as the bathrooms.On our first stay, we had quiet penthouse rooms on the second floor of the main house.
