Nice place to stay. Clean rooms and kind staff. They have a great indoor wellness so you can try it even if the weather is cold outside. The thermal spa is a short walk from the hotel. 

We like the room but I missed my balcony. But let it be the biggest problem 

I recommend to stay here.

Great Weekend for a couple!

We booked 3 nights with breakfast and dinner. The hotel is really nice, good location, close to the Cave Bath. ( we took tickets for cave bath with discount from the hotel reception). The room is big, luminous and clean. The only problem that we’ve had was the temperature in the room, was a little cold for the kid, on thermostat we could set 23 degrees but the air was cold. When you leave, you’ll have to pay the resort tax and the parking place ( just like info for those who don’t know it).

Nice hotel

Pleasant, family style hotel in beautiful surroundings. The interior design is elegant, the exterior areas are well maintained. Everywhere is very cleaning. The staff is very nice and polite. The food and drink supply can be said to be average. Overall, a very pleasant, recommendable hotel.

Pleasant

We stayed 2 nights at Calimbra in middle of september.  Our room was on the 2nd floor and it was huge. Very spacious with 2 balconies. We loved the room.
The wellness are is nice, but the main pool is not very inviting due to its (very) cold water.  Outside pool we could not try it was already too cold for that. Saunas were good, so was the "bubbly" pool.  Very nice wellness area, lots of confy chairs and beds to choose from. 
Food was excellent : great choice, tasty food.  We loved it.
The only negative thing we can say is the poor choice of Hungarian cable channels and that our TV was sort of defective.  (big vertical line on the right side of the tv)
Another annoying thing was the non working ventillation in the bathroom.
Other than this we really had a pleasant time.  Will come back.

Great stay, great hotel

Pros:
* Nice pools and spa.
* Helpful staff, speak English well.
* Private and safe parking.
* The rooms are large and pleasant. The balcony is very nice.
* Breakfast was very good, with a wide variety.
Cons: 
* Airconditioning was poor (in both rooms we were occupying). We asked for someone to take a look, but were told to wait for next day (after we checked out...).
* A car is a must. The hotel is on a hill and there's not much to do within a walking distance.

Pleasant hotel and helpful staff

No wifi. Cable channels are a disaster. Nothing to watch. Stayed 7 days looking how other people are leaving every day a got stocked in the part of the hotel with no view and balcony. Great way to say thank you for extended stay.

Disappointed

We were to have a high school alumni party, rented a separate room and buffet food there, the food was very good (i do not understand some other comments regarding food, it was perfect.)
And the hotel was absolutely OK if we took our own home made drinks.
The room was perfect, clean, good view, etc.
The personnel is very friendly.

Very nice place and very friendly personnel

I happened to be in this hotel by accident. I booked another one (I won't name it), but they had an overbooking and they offered to move to this hotel. I liked It all! Excellent rooms. Large and well equipped. Convenient location. Parking. Good restaurant. Good spa area. Swimming pool. Everything at the level. If there are places and a reasonable price, I plan to stay only in this hotel.

That's very good!

We stay at the hotel for three nights during traveling around.
Nice clean hotel the room was large but had no balcony which we had booked but as the hotel was full couldn’t change so for us we were disappointed as we like to sit out in the evening.
Pool area and spa was very good .
Dressing gown and towels provided.
We stayed half board and it was good .

Nice hotel 

It's a big, bright family luxury. Two balconies with beautiful views. Quiet, fresh air. Great parking. True, for such a big hotel, it's small. Very convenient location near the terraces. Breakfast is poor. Nothing useful: sausages- sausages, not tasty vegetables, hard apples, artificial cornflakes. Now about the shortages! In the hotel claiming high quality, after 22 hours you can't eat ANYTHING! The restaurant is closed, there's no room service. I've never met such a thing! I'm writing and I'm not coming after tomorrow! We arrived at 22:30 in the car, overcoming 1500 km of tired and tired people.
