Őri Art Inn

I went biking to Őrség and stayed here for a few nights. From a biking perspective this is just the best location, every biking tour is easily accessible from here. Also, the only two restaurants in the city (Bognar and Pajta) are within a 2-3 min long ride - perfect! The room is comfortably sized, the beds are ok (though all single beds with a wooden frame - not sure I'd enjoy it with a partner), the bathroom is clean. The room is not a big deal but cute enough. The wifi is working fine. And now the things that can make you love this place: 1) it's basically in the middle of nowhere. So silent, so untouched! 2) it's a farm with horses, sheeps, a crazy vizsla puppy and friendly kitties 3) it feels home when you return back from a heavy biking. You can enjoy the huge garden, the many benches there, the little outside breakfast cottage or just relax lying on the grass 4) Aniko, the owner, has a wonderful personality, always smiling, always caring. Although breakfast is not served, you can ask for some coffee in the morning, psst-psst ;-) All in all: while there are more posh places in Oriszentpeter, I loved Szekeres more for the above reasons.
