10 reviewsI was very troubled before i booked, reading negative reviews and seeing the photos. But the price offer was extremely good. So i took my chances..... I was greeted by friendly staff at the Amazones Village. They helped me checking in and nothing was too much trouble. They offered me a welcome drink while they were busy with the passports. They took me down to the annex and i came across to a small but very Cretan little hotel. It was like going back in time... I had an apartment on the second floor with full sea view. Beautiful olive trees on the front, very quiet and peaceful. Room is basic but there is a hairdryer, flat screen tv, safe, a small kitchenette with dining place and a small fridge. I slept so very good and every day my room was clean and tidy. I did not mind the short walk for breakfast and dinner because the little village is so awesome, that it is nice to walk round and about. There is even a small museum close to the villa sun!I knew that I did not book a 5 star suite, so I was pleasantly surprised with what I received. At the end of the day, you get what you pay for! I will return back because I enjoyed the peace of this place.
