We had a one bedroom apartment with a double bed, a sofa bed  in the lounge cum kitchenette, a bathroom and toilet. We were on the 4th floor facing away from the restaurants etc. There were just 2 of us. Any more would have been snug. Yes it was simply furnished, but it was clean and comfortable (especially warm) . Ski lockers led virtually straight out to the slopes and there were plenty of bars and restaurants close by. Also there were 2 supermarkets open 8-8 (ish).
Probably not the best of alpine sites for accomplished adult only skiers, but for families it was ideal. (Not a great apres ski area.)
We went with Snowbizz, who were excellent from start to finish.

Went on a week's ski trip to Puy St Vincent with two children.  We last cane here in 2011.  We booked through Snowbizz who use the hotel for their families.  Snowbizz are brilliant and the most child focussed ski providers out there, nothing is too much for them.

Booking in was no problem, once we arrived we got our keys and passes immediately and had been told where things were.  This helped us get a sneaky extra hour on the slopes.

The rooms are basic, but considering we were on the slopes all day, basic is as much as we need.  It's a self catering hotel, the supermarket is 2 minutes away.

The good bits:
Hot water and heating were spot on, hot bath always available for four people.
Beds were comfortable.

Bad bits (though no real biggy).
Our room had no oven.  There was a microwave, but this did limit to what we could cook.
There were food items were a bit random , we had 2 mugs but 16 glasses??
Wifi is terrible, particularly between 5-8pm where the whole hotel is probably trying to access it, but it is free.

These make it a 4 rate and not a 5, but generally a very good stay.

Nothing more than is required for a ski trip

Great place for school trips and ski weekends, spacious apartment very well equipped for 4 to 8 people! Clean, well arranged, equipped kitchen, separate room! Perfect for a weekend with friends or family, at the foot of the Escalator (5 minutes' walk)! The only small problem is you can't make too much noise!

This residence is now called Sun Vallee. 
Great location, ski in ski out, linked to the shops and restaurants in 1600. 2 minute walk to the pool. 
Apartments are basic, old furniture, etc but I expect that in ski resorts and they are well equipped and very warm. The balcony was nice too with great views. 
It would be nice if the lockers had heated boot warmers, but maybe that's expecting too much for budget accommodation. 
A couple of things could be better - one of the lifts broke while we were there, and it was days before it was fixed, meaning waiting a long time for a lift. I waited nearly 10 minutes 1 day before giving up and climbing 4 flights of stairs with heavy bags. 
The lights are on a timer and go off after about 1 minute meaning the corridors are always dark and creepy. Wifi was very patchy. 
Overall it was good value for money and we had a great holiday here.

Basic but convenient

The apartment was very clean and well equipped, ideal for a week of holiday, residence close to the ski slopes, very easy access to the heart of the resort by shuttle.

Ideal for a family vacation

Our apartment was simple but clean, warm, comfortable and more than sufficient for a week skiing in PSV. I was travelling with my wife and 2 young children and the resort felt super safe, everything was close together. I would definitely be happy to stay here again.

Simple, comfortable ski apartments

We stayed here from 20/12 to 03/01/15. We have the 4 bed storage room where the accommodation consisted of a huge entrance/lounge with a table, a sofa bed and the kitchen, then there was the bedtime as indicated on the site, the living room fee and parking although we didn't ask for it. Inside the accommodation there is a very basic furnishing. This was our second visit to Puy with Snowbizz.

This tour operator is the best I have travelled with.  

They will go out of their way to assist you with whatever needs you have.  

The child care team (pink ladies) are good fun for the children, you feel very happy handing them over for a couple of hours fun each night.  Plus the first hour in the morning before their ski lessons, so you get a chance to get yourself ready for the day ahead.

The ski instructors were excellent, we had Silvio, Tom and M-ell they were really good.  

The apartments are basic but often ski accommodation is, they are functional and adequate for the needs of a ski holiday.  It would be good to have bigger beds, but I believe these apartments are privately owned and rented for the season, so that is an owner issue that I don't think can be addressed.

It was good to have the apartment so we could come and go as we pleased.  We had most of our food in the apartment.  A trip to the patisserie each morning for croissants and pain au chocolat was a treat, we also picked up bread at the same time for lunch.  The supermarket is a good size but their stock is sporadic so when you see milk, make sure you have enough to get you through the next few days, as fresh milk might not be in resort for another three days!  One morning a friend had to have powdered goats milk in her tea!

In the evenings we only ate out one night, in the restaurant linked with snowbizz, La Chaumiere as a treat for the last night.  It was tasty and the staff were polite, they were rather slow taking payment though, so I might even ask to pay at the point they bring the meal to you if you need to dash to get the children from the fun and games.  

The rest of the time we got take away pizza from a good take away booth in the precinct, several nights we got freshly cooked chicken and chips from the supermarket.  Very good value at 10 euro for 4 people or cooked something simple in the apartment

Do remember towels, bath mat to keep the floor from getting too wet, dishwasher tablets, baked beans, j-cloths etc.  The rest the supermarket stocks.

I cannot say enough how good this tour operator is.  They are family run, with the youngest generation working full-time in the business, so this company has years to run.  They truly care, and if there is anything at all, they will aim to deliver

Second visit, equally as good

I have traveled several times with Snowbizz, each time I stayed in the Mona Lisa apartments. According to French standards for such a reasonable price (ski holiday standards), these apartments are rather spacious, not like some circle apartments in Flaine, Val Thorens, etc. Except for the main bed and the bedroom which are small. But a good base for family ski holidays. Everything is literally meters away. Don't expect any architectural delights from the main building.
